I was out and about by myself with no Philly to tell me what the buttons meant on the camera and I wanted to do a Panorama shot by sticking photos together - finally managed to press the right button and got this - I stuck it all together by myself too! Yeah for me!

The interior of Lyndhurst was beautifully kept by the trust and allowed non-flash photography. A lot of low light shots failed but the natural light here worked well.

another colorful trogon, this one heard and found after sunset - one of the only times I used a bit of flash on the trip. I know a lot of bird photographers use quite a bit of flash, but I am not nearly that skilled (mine always look a bit unnatural - and I worry about temporarily blinding the birds)
