The most common clown fish in the Red Sea. It is found at depths of 1-30 m, generally living in pairs in association with an anemone.

the fish were all gathered together this morning, it was an extremely cold day with snow showers and hail on and off, my only thought about this behaviour is that on that side of the pond there are flower pots which might make the water in that area slightly warmer, although that idea is most likely wrong, I took this photo from my bedroom window I love to spend a few minutes each day watching the fish from there, they give me a lot of pleasure.
Taken at night in Bonaire, Netherland Antilles. They sleep with their eyes open. Sometimes they spin a mucus cocoon around themselves at night which masks their scent from predators.
This is a photo of an 8x10 print from a transparency so quality isn't great here. I've been reviewing a lot of our photos trying to decide if we should sell our film cameras and go all digital. Tough choice!
