I was down at the waterfront this morning just after a native boat came in which was heavily laden with fish, It was so heavily loaded the boat flipped over spilling his entire catch. Lucky for him the water is only about 10~15' deep at that point and he was able to enlist a couple of friends to help him out. They lashed a landing net to a pike pole and were able to scoop many of them off of the bottom.

I saw this little guy swimming around, but every time I raised the camera, he darted off. Right towards the end of the trip, I tried one last time and got three shots before he swam off again. Cute, isn't he?

Lovely hearty broth - with large pieces of haddock and some nice shrimp as well. Generally speaking, fish soup is a "safe bet" in Norway - and good value.

This was the best restaurant meal I had during my week in Norway.

I went to the Baltimore Aquarium in Baltimore, Maryland with one of my friends today to celebrate. We were both fascinated by the jelly fish, and the guy we kept on running into by accident.
