This brand new design is part of a series of decorative throw animal pillows I recently made for the Etsy/West Elm pop-up Holiday shop. If you have been to the Boston Bazaar Bizarre fair you may also have seen it there!
As with all my designs this pillow is hand sewn with love and care with the best quality embroidery cotton thread, felt in an aqua kind of blue, a rainstorm blue with some grey shading and a slate grey.
This fish pillow took me many hours to make and it is one of a kind!
Dimensions: 25"L x 10"W (63x25cm)

Tianguis or outdoor shopping day in Jocotepec means you may find just about anything you want. These fresh fish were on the sidewalk waiting for the right shopper. It's also a great place to have a meal of goat stew or barria with a bottle of cold cervesa. Jocotepec is nice large town with mostly paved streets at the northwest end of Lake Chapala, 25 miles south of Guadalajara, Mexico in the state of Jalisco.
