Notre tentative pour rejoindre l'arête des Cuillins, le temps devait être dégagé , mais hélas ce ne fut pas le cas, le ciel c'est chargé progressivement accompagné d'un fort vent.

Thankfully the lights of the runway lit up an awful morning at the United States Air Force base at RAF Lakenheath this week with low cloud and mist around the base for most of the morning this was 1 of only 2 F-15 Eagles to manage to get airborne before 1130 due to a weather hold being implemented shortly after they returned!

My first attempt at light painting and making an orb. Well, it's orb-ish, at least. Now the real work begins! I have a long way to go. It's looking rather disheveled, but I'm excited- it's a start!

We have moved and this was our first morning walk. The cats settled straight away so I was happy letting them out, we had a walk around and then it was straight back into unpacking.

Hopefully will try and catch up with you all and get into my flickr routine once I have settled properly. Still have to go back and clean up other property and collect horses which will happen this weekend.

Squirt is fitting in really well by the way and will add some photos soon.

Well the time has come for Sunset Sailor to raise the mainsail and head off into the mist. My last post, here, is one of the first digital photos I ever took, using my HP Photosmart C20 camera.

A lot has changed in my life over the past two years and it's time for me to change as well. There aren't enough words to express the gratitude I have for my contacts and friends here on Flickr. You are the best and have shared your best over the years. I have harvested so much enjoyment from your work and words.

Not related to my departure, but as an aside, download any photos or textures you want from my posts, while you can, since non-Pro accounts will be stripped to a minimum sometime soon.

Please be aware my leaving is not related to Flickr price policy changes. It's a personal choice.

Hoist the sail, mates...
