In retrospect this may have not been the most carefully thought through plan. I decided to do some work in the back yard, and after some begging on the kittens' part, decided to let them run around while I was out there (on leashes, they'd be happy to jump the fence and go off to explore otherwise). It's been sunny this weekend, but most of the last two weeks it's been raining, and it turns out there was plenty of mud (and even a few puddles) for kittens to find and play in. So they got their first baths today.
After he was dry, Klickitat went back into the bathroom where he got his bath, jumped up onto the sink, and got his collar. He brought it into the other room and fussed until I put it back on him. I'm not sure what to make of that.
