Driving home one evening, just before dusk, I spotted these flames leaping into the sky in the distance. As it was not far off the way, I drove by and had a look. Arrived before the fire brigade and the ambulance. The farmer decided to burn off a whole lot of old timber, a really huge pile. He just forgot to let the police, fire brigade and ambulance services know about it. Also a little too close to the biogas tanks that he had next to the fire on his farm.

Anyway, as I was leaving, 5 fire engines arrived along with an ambulance. 20 minutes later the fire was out and the farmer probably recieved a rather large bill for the whole operation.

I couldn't get any closer to the fire; the heat was so intense. And I don't think the 2 blossoming trees right next to the fire are going to survive the ordeal...

Secret #14

I am afraid of fire!

Two years ago I was at my place alone, studying for a test I had at the university when I smelled smoke. I looked around and saw it coming from the wall next to me.. I've always thought I wouldn't know how to react in crisis, but it was like I was on autopilot. I checked if it was coming from the apartment and when I didn't find anything burning I got my cellphone and got out.. I started looking for where the smoke was coming from and finally saw it was from the neighbors. I opened the door and tried to get in, because I heard voices a few minutes earlier, but the smoke was too much and I couldn't breathe.. I called the fire brigade. While waiting I was banging on the door, hoping someone would come out.. The firemen came pretty fast, but unfortunately not enough.. Or maybe I didn't notice the smoke early enough.. I don't know.. One man died that day and I took it really hard. About a month later I moved and believe it or not every time I dream of fire one happens somewhere nearby.. Yesterday was one of those days and not more than 20 minutes after I woke up I heard the fire-brigade passing near my building.. By the end of the day there were 3 fires that I knew about.. I scares the hell out of me!

On December 17th last year there was a fire in town, and luckily I had the drone on me as I headed home from work.

This was the scene from a nearby park as fire fighters tackled the blaze

Got it from the kitchen.

I looked around, I saw eyes

I heard a voice say, "Come to me"

I got a rumblin' beneath my feet

And the whole world was shaken free

And the sun was standin' still

Everything was dark, but I could see...

Hi again!

So I haven't had the chance to get back to all of your beautiful streams, but as I said before, I have a ton of photos that I've edited and that I've yet to edit, so I want to show them to you all.

So this is from the Renaissance Festival that I went to a couple of months ago. I went with a couple of my friends and it was a lot of fun, very tiring, but a lot of fun. I got my favorite, chocolate covered cheescake, which is the best thing ever! Seriously, next time you get the chance, GET IT. Totally worth it.

So we went to see this show with this really zany guy. He was really clever and just awesome to watch. And he did fire eating/breathing tricks, as you can see. It was really incredible. He was a Harry Potter fan too, so that was nice. :]

I put a couple random edits from the day in the comments as well. Enjoy!

And I used this curve set of Rowena's for this picture.

My best of friends, Nick, owns a cabin in Sturgeon Lake, MN. We try and get up there once a year to have a weekend together. We generally build a large fire.

La la notte bianca per bambini di Finale Ligure ha previsto molte forme di intrattenimento, ma la mangiafuoco ha lasciato tutti i piccini a bocca aperta.

This was a fire in a trucking lot.

I bet you can't tell me how I took this picture.

(:

This capture is from one of my dads BBQ's, and I thought it would be cool to take shot of the fire starting :D I love all the figures and shapes that it creates! What kind of figures do you guys see? I kinda see a face on the lower left and a bird on the lower right hand corner of the flame, but maybe that's because I have an over active imagination xD Hope everyone is having a great weekend so far!
