Tim Hughes - Consuming fire
I had 2 huge wood piles to burn, I burned one on Sunday.
This one was close to the road and with the wind from the south it might have blinded traffic with the smoke.
But today after the rain the front started moving in and the wind shifted to from the north so I lit this one off also.
Im obssesed with these little paper cranes, and I'm working to come up with more creative pics for them. This one turned out a bit less dramatic than I'd hoped, but hey, it's still cool ;)
Love your comments and opinions, thanks <3

We had a bunch of twigs and branches laying around so my dad started a fire and my friend and I got to burn a bunch of it! It was really fun, even though we were sweating to death xD And I bet you reconize that brick background right? Well, you've learned my secret...It's a firepit that we put together! xD
The fire and all the candles we had left at the end of Glastonbury 2004. We had a great night talking, singing, etc. Time to go home.

buddy had to hold REAL still for me to take this.
so .. this was at 21c friday night.
the worst part? i had no idea what all was involved with the pajama party and therefore only packed along the D50 and 18-200. if i would have known the show i was able to see i would have brought the dan dry lens. even worse though, because i had been 'working' the event .. i had prime seats to watch the show from the baloney overhead...
sigh ..
however i think the fire guy was moving too fast for most of the show to even make good use of the DD lens.
i still walked out with a bunch of interesting shots .. both from the performance and also the details beforehand. for things like this though, i tend to take a few shots, put the camera down, and actually try to enjoy it for once.
