Consuming Fire
Fan into flame
a passion for your name
Spirit of God
fall in this place
Lord have your way
Lord have your way
with us
Tim Hughes - Consuming fire
The fire hose water is made from Lego Clickit plastic necklace strings with studs at each end that clicked into the blasters and the underside of bricks behind the house.
I let it fall, my heart
And as it fell, you rose to claim it
It was dark and I was over
Until you kissed my lips and you saved me
My hands, they were strong, but my knees were far too weak
To stand in your arms without falling to your feet
But there's a side to you that I never knew, never knew
All the things you'd say, they were never true, never true
And the games you'd play, you would always win, always win
But I set fire to the rain
Watched it pour as I touched your face
Well, it burned while I cried
'Cause I heard it screaming out your name, your name
When laying with you I could stay there
Close my eyes, feel you here forever
You and me together, nothing is better
'Cause there's a side to you that I never knew, never knew
All the things you'd say, they were never true, never true
And the games you's play, you would always win, always win
But I set fire to the rain
Watched it pour as I touched your face
Well, it burned while I cried
'Cause I heard it screaming out your name, your name
I set fire to the rain
And I threw us into the flames
When we fell, something died
'Cause I knew that that was the last time, the last time
Sometimes I wake up by the door
That heart you caught must be waiting for you
Even now when we're already over
I can't help myself from looking for you
I set fire to the rain
Watched it pour as I touch your face
Well, it burned while I cried
'Cause I heard it screaming out your name, your name
I set fire to the rain
And I threw us into the flames
When we fell, something died
'Cause I knew that that was the last time, the last time, oh
Oh, no
Let it burn, oh
Let it burn
Let it burn
I had 2 huge wood piles to burn, I burned one on Sunday.
This one was close to the road and with the wind from the south it might have blinded traffic with the smoke.
But today after the rain the front started moving in and the wind shifted to from the north so I lit this one off also.
The Fire Wave Trail (and Seven Wonders Loop it is a part of) is one of the most popular in Valley of Fire State Park, Nevada.
On the afternoon of 29 April 2015, a fire started in the house's basement, and quickly spread to the roof.[1] At 16:09 Surrey Fire and Rescue Service received an emergency call, and the fire was subsequently attended by a total of 16 fire engines and more than 80 personnel.[1] While fire fighters tackled the blaze National Trust volunteers were joined by conservators in recovering items from the house.[1] Items were first stored on the lawns then placed in bubble wrap and sent to a local storage unit.[1] Surrey Fire and Rescue Service remained at the property until the fire was fully extinguished and then began an investigation into the cause of the fire
Clandon Park is an 18th-century Palladian mansion in West Clandon just outside Guildford, Surrey, England. It has been a National Trust property since 1956 and is a Grade I listed building.
The house was built, or perhaps thoroughly rebuilt, around 1730–33 (the latter date is on rainwater leads), designed by the Venetian architect Giacomo Leoni, replacing an Elizabethan property. The estate had been bought in 1641, together with Temple Court Farm at Merrow, by Sir Richard Onslow, MP for Surrey in the Long Parliament, from Sir Richard Weston, canal builder & pioneering agriculturalist, of nearby Sutton Place.[4] The new building was commissioned by his great-grandson Thomas, 2nd Baron Onslow. Many members of the Onslow family followed political careers—three of them, including Arthur Onslow, were Speakers of the House of Commons. Clandon Park's interiors, which were finished into the 1740s, feature a two-storey Marble Hall, containing marble chimney pieces by the Flemish sculptor Michael Rysbrack.

We had a bunch of twigs and branches laying around so my dad started a fire and my friend and I got to burn a bunch of it! It was really fun, even though we were sweating to death xD And I bet you reconize that brick background right? Well, you've learned my secret...It's a firepit that we put together! xD
The fire and all the candles we had left at the end of Glastonbury 2004. We had a great night talking, singing, etc. Time to go home.

buddy had to hold REAL still for me to take this.
so .. this was at 21c friday night.
the worst part? i had no idea what all was involved with the pajama party and therefore only packed along the D50 and 18-200. if i would have known the show i was able to see i would have brought the dan dry lens. even worse though, because i had been 'working' the event .. i had prime seats to watch the show from the baloney overhead...
sigh ..
however i think the fire guy was moving too fast for most of the show to even make good use of the DD lens.
i still walked out with a bunch of interesting shots .. both from the performance and also the details beforehand. for things like this though, i tend to take a few shots, put the camera down, and actually try to enjoy it for once.

I wish I could make a fire bird so big so it could warm up the sky and heat up the cold hearts of all the people. I wish I could melt away all hate and all the fear in the world.
I wish the fire bird would land on all humanity bringing peace and love.

Efforts of nearly 1000 USDA Forest Service employees, and wildland firefighters, from initial attack and weeks following, highlight how men and women of cooperating agencies stand strong together. Meanwhile families were evacuated, homes destroyed and even now, as our employees continue to be impacted by the devastating effects of the fire the response continues
