It was coooold (or colder than we were anticipating) this weekend. The fire was a necessity rather than an aesthetic thing.

PANORAMA CITY - The Los Angeles Fire Department's Recruit Training Academy Class 23-2 celebrated their class graduation on January 25, 2024, as they became proud probationary members of the LAFD. Friends and family of the graduates were joined by City of Los Angeles Fire Chief Kristin Crowley, and civic and community leaders, in congratulating and welcoming the newest members of the Department in a ritual filled ceremony.

While I was at Boeing's Museum of Flight, an old Sunny Jim peanut butter plant caught fire and burned to the ground.
