The finder bracket was made of a 1/8" wall brass tube. It took up a full day of the 38-day build time.
This isn't a "Canonet Picture", but the picture of my "NEW" Canonet QL19 which isn't NEW in the real sense of the word. When Canon introduced this camera, they wanted to distinguish it from the previous Canonet QL19 and called it the "NEW" Canonet QL19.
This film camera, my prized possession since 1970, has been in retirement since I exposed the last roll of film with it. So, I thought it would be fitting to take a picture of it with the new DSLR.
Maybe, the camera should be pulled out of retirement and put to use alongside the DSLR.
In the morning as I was driving to do my errands, I prayed a silent prayer that I would have my eyes open for all the things I am blessed with... shortly afterwards, while walking my dog, I found this cross. It was glittering in the sunshine, clearly once part of a necklace that someone either lost or threw away. Well, I smiled as I picked it up. It was a direct answer to my prayer, a reminder of my greatest blessing. That controversial Jew, called Jesus has been my strength all my life! :-)
At the end I had succes for a Turret finder 135-85-50-35-28mm together with an original box. Now I am searching for a Black Jupiter-9 lens.

So far i've had very few problems with OS X. About the only bug I've hit is that on one occasion the finder left the taskbar and was deaf to my clicks. Logging out and in again resolved it.

My experiment in RANGE FINDER. Shot with YASHICA ELECTRO 35 GS with yashikor aux wide angle 1:4. Got it at the swapmeet for 50$. Took some research to find a battery. I like the result dont think it's much of a difference to go range finder but i had to see for myself. Nice addition to my collection tho.
