Geordnet ist's einfacher. Erbsen zählen.

And? How many are there? I mean the peas, not the ice crystals ;-) We don't want to be petty ... "Counting peas" is a phrase and in English means "to nitpick", that means being petty, stingy or fussy.

The peas are, in the saying, the symbol of the small and of little value. So if you are a bean counter, you dedicate your time to something that is actually not worth it. In any case, here is "everything in the green", another phrase – and that is translated in English: Everything’s rosy in the garden. ;-) And how is it expressed in all the countless languages of the world? Well, then we don't want to be like this (...), to each his own and how he likes it ... I like peas and especially how different they are when you look closely ;-)

///

No crop. I have put my exif details up again. I only took them off as an experiment with explore. I had never been explored under my own name until two days ago and was starting to think I never would so I took the exif off and hey ho less than a week I was explored lol

This mini cacti had color and texture to fill the frame. HMM

For Looking Close... on Friday!'s #beads theme

In our house, the phrase "very kerry" is often used to describe objects that are bright and colourful (and that the rest of the family aren't quite so keen on, though they are too polite to say). In truth, i probably don't wear this selection of beads much any more, tending to prefer slightly more subdued toning and styling. My tastes may be changing but I do still like a picture with bright and bold colours 😀

Been eating plenty of these beauties recently, think I’m addicted!

Macro Mondays Fill the Frame

#MacroMondays - #Macro Mondays - #FillTheFrame - #Fill the frame

There are so many wonderful things, we all can fill our frames with. Family, love, joy, nearness and many many more. Perhaps the benefit of the situation during the last month is, that we are remembering those things more. I wish it to all with all my heart. Besides I wish all the children a great international children's day (June 1st.)

Juni).

Made for Macro Monday, Theme: Fill the Frame:

I love them both, maybe steel cut over rolled but that depends on my mood. Which is your favorite? I laid this out pretty flat so I just shot it at f/11 but didn't have the depth I wanted. I'm still on my trial with Helicon Focus stacking software so I wanted to see what a stack would look like. I took a 6 image stack and what a difference! You can blow this up pretty large and see the depth I got!

For Flickr Friday's #purple theme

This is quite obviously (at least, I hope so!) purple! But I've always found it interesting that flowers described as 'blue' are quite often more purpley, as true blues are difficult to find in the floral world.

I don't like to use flowers for 'colour' themes as a rule. But these beautiful 'blue' asters are at their best in my garden at the moment, and they really were lending themselves to a bit of ICM play. Whilst I have been known to add radial blur in processing, this blur is all in camera; created

by trying to hold an off-centre focal point and rotating around it.

Taken with my flektogon, and the vintagey feel slightly enhanced in CEfex, though I did try to minimise impact on the colour. (I held an ND filter over the lens so that I could use a slower shutter speed; i have no idea if it's even possible to get filters for vintage lenses! This works remarkable well but does require a bit of concentration.)
