Replacing an earlier digital photo with a better version 09-Nov-19.
Named: "Connor".
A late build MD-11F, this aircraft was delivered to FedEx/Federal Express as N621FE in Aug-99. It was sold to a lessor on delivery and leased back to FedEx. Current, updated (Nov-19).
The growth in the air cargo business since the COVID-19 pandemic has caused FedEx to slow down the pace at which it has parked its MD-11 fleet - all for the best, I want to keep spotting trijets as long as I can. This one was built for American Airlines in 1993 as N1762B.
