This aircraft was originally delivered to United Airlines as N586UA on 29 JUL 1993 and served the airline for over 20 years before being withdrawn from use and stored in September 2013. Acquired by FedEx on 04 MAR 2014 as N796FD, converted to freighter, and put into service on 16 SEP 2014.

Not the most exciting traffic for those of us based in Hong Kong, however the three-runway ops give us the opportunity to get 25L landings allowing for an attractive, diverse background for photos.
Current practice results in a reversion to two-runway ops at 1600 hrs local.

This aircraft was originally delivered to Delta Air Lines as N621DL on 14 NOV 1986 and was in service with that airline until OCT 2010. Aircraft joined FedEx in MAY 2011 and was converted to a side-door freighter.
