The second round of BJP prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi’s ''Chai Pe Charcha" (discussion over tea) will be on the International Women’s Day in India between 4 pm to 6.30 pm. On this occasion here today, in Kishore Nagar ward No 9, Tajpur Road, Ludhiana Grewal told reporters on that the programmes will be also in rural areas, the direct discussion with Narendra Modi would be telecast live across all the centres. He said that the Mahila Morchas have already identified the locations for the discussion and about 200 women are expected to participate in each centre in India. Grewal stated that the discussion of Narendra Modi revolves around three issues ''share, question and suggest." While the women can share the problems they face locally, they can ask questions to Narendra Modi on his views about women empowerment and give suggestions about safety of women. He said the Congress led UPA's Centre Government has utterly failed to assure women’s safety and it is evident in the failure of the police to nab the accused in the ATM attack case despite having the pictures of the accused. Grewal regretted that without any legwork, including recruitment of sufficient women police personnel, the Government has permitted extension of night life. Grewal told that Mahila Morcha organized Chai Pe Charcha interactive session with our BJP prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi in the country.

Senior BJP Leader and Punjab BJP Investor Cell Chief, Advocate Sukhminderpal Singh Grewal today unfolded a major racket by Private Polytechnic Colleges in Punjab in association with officials of Punjab State Technical Education and Industrial Training Board and All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE). Grewal stated that AICTE initiated a scheme to run Second Shift of Polytechnic Institution in an existing Polytechnic Institution. Under this scheme, a Polytechnic Institute could provide courses in Morning and Evening Shifts with existing infrastructure and additional faculty. Grewal added that as per AICTE norms the timings for morning or 1st shift were defined as 7 am to 1.30 pm and 2nd shift were defined as 2 pm to 8.30 pm but most of the private polytechnics such as RIMT Polytechnic, Mandi Gobindgarh which are approved for second shift are blatantly violating the norms by running both the shifts from 9.30 am to 5 pm. Thus, the same infrastructure and faculty is used to serve double the strength of students in single shift. Further under the scheme, as per AICTE norms an additional Vice Principal or Deputy Director, in addition to the full time Director/Principal of first shift was to be appointed. Norms further require at least 50% additional teaching faculty should be appointed for second shift and 25% visiting faculty should be engaged and remaining 25% faculty should be utilized from the existing first year faculty. But these Private Polytechnics are miserably overloading existing infrastructure and faculty to serve double the strength of student in single shift in order to milk the institution to please their lust for money. Similarly, as per norms at least 50% additional non teaching staff should be appointed for second shift and 50% existing staff of the first shift may be utilized. But these Private Polytechnics are openly flouting these norms so much so that they are not even paying additional 50% of Basic Pay + DA for this additional assignment to the existing 25% teaching and 50% non teaching faculty as allowed under the scheme, keep aside appointment of new faculty. Grewal added that the Salary transferred to the Bank accounts of the faculty can be verified to establish the same. “The overall intent of this scheme was to reduce cost of education per student, optimal utilization of resources and to bring the infrastructure of the Polytechnics at par with engineering colleges but murky deals of the Promoters of these Private Polytechnic colleges, officials of AICTE and Punjab State Technical Education and Industrial Training Board have been a spoilsport thereby spoiling the careers of the students”, stated Grewal. He added that he will write to Mr.Mahesh Aggarwal ACB, Central Bureau of Investigation, Sector 30 A, Chandigarh, Mr. Sumedh Singh Saini, Director Vigilance Bureau, Sector 17, Chandigarh and Mr. Gurbachan Singh Joint Director, Intelligence Bureau, Chandigarh to investigate the culprits and to put a full stop on commercialization of education which was once considered a social work. At this time Ramandeep Singh PS,Babbu Vijay Mall Doraha, Ajneet Singh, Chamkaur Singh Pandher, Ashok Garg, Surjit Singh Sita Gogna large number of BJP Investor Cell workers were present.

Punjab Small Industry and Export Corporation ( PSIEC ) Former Vice Chairman, Advocate Sukhminderpal Singh Grewal said that our SAD-BJP Government has made several efforts to boost the industrial sector in Punjab state. Grewal said that due to these efforts of SAD-BJP Government as result several business houses are keen to invest in our Punjab. He said that now we have to check Punjab State Power Corporation Limited ( PSPCL ) which is providing poor services to the Consumers in Punjab. Talking with the Media persons here today Grewal lashed out at Punjab State Power Corporation Limited for poor consumer services and absolute non-adherence of Standards of Performance mandated by Punjab State Electricity Regulatory Commission ( PSERC ) appointed by Government of Punjab. Punjab State Electricity Regulatory Commission ( PSERC ) has specified critical distribution parameters to provide efficient, reliable and safe system of Electricity through its regulations provided in its Supply Code. These Minimum Standards of Performance provides strict timelines to resolve various Consumer grievances viz. Normal Fuse Off, Overhead Line Breakdowns, Underground Cable Breakdowns, Distribution Transformer Failure, Power Transformer Failure, Street Light Faults, Period of Scheduled Outage, Voltage Fluctuations, Meter Complaints, Release of New Connection, Transfer of Title or Conversion of Services, Shifting of Meter/Service Connection and other Services, Complaints about Consumer’s Bills and restoration of Supply.
Grewal stated that Punjab State Electricity Regulatory Commission ( PSERC ) mandates a compensation to the Consumer in case of non-fulfillment of these Minimum Standards of Performance. Compensation varies from Rs 50/- to Rs 5000/- for each default for each Consumer. It is well known that Punjab State Power Corporation Limited neither fulfils these Minimum Standard of performance ( MSOP ) nor compensates any Consumer towards any such lapse whereas Punjab State Electricity Regulatory Commission ( PSERC ) mandates payment of such compensation by the way of adjustment in Electricity Bills. For instance, Punjab State Electricity Regulatory Commission ( PSERC ) mandates a normal fuse off complaint shall be addressed within 4 hours in cities, towns and urban areas and in case Punjab State Power Corporation Limited ( PSPCL ) fails to resolve the complaint within 4 hours, it shall remit Rs 50/- as compensation by the way of adjustment in the next bill of the Consumer.
Grewal added that Punjab State Electricity Regulatory Commission ( PSERC ) mandates registration of each and every complaint filed by the Consumer verbally, telephonically or in writing as per a duly approved Consumer Complaint Handling Procedure whereas there is hardly any such effective system in place to register and address consumer complaints. “According to the Annual Revenue Requirement ( ARR ) filed by the Punjab State Power Corporation Limited ( PSPCL ) with the Punjab State Electricity Regulatory Commission ( PSERC ), it received only 2462 complaints in a year from over 65 Lac Consumers across Punjab whereas on an average more than 10000 complaints are received daily by the Punjab State Power Corporation Limited which clearly means Punjab State Power Corporation Limited ( PSPCL ) had fudged Annual Revenue Requirement ( ARR ) figures to avoid compensation and save itself from the wrath of Punjab State Electricity Regulatory Commission ( PSERC ) ”, added Grewal.
Grewal stated that he will write to Shri Shanta Kumar MP ( Rajya Sabha ) Prabhari Punjab Pradesh, Sr Sukhbir Singh Badal President Shiromani Akali Dal ( SAD ), Deputy Chief Minister and Power Minister Punjab, Shri Kamal Sharma Punjab State President Bharatiya Janata Party ( BJP ), Shri Tikshan Sud Political Advisor to CM Punjab and also to Punjab State Electricity Regulatory Commission ( PSERC ) to pass strict instructions to Punjab State Power Corporation Limited ( PSPCL ) to ensure registration of each and every complaint and its quick resolution, adhere to the Minimum Standard of performance ( MSOP ) as mandated by Punjab State Electricity Regulatory Commission ( PSERC ) and compensate each and every Consumer in case of any failure on its part.

Killing of RSS activists in Kerala
RSS, BJP, Bajrang Dal stage dharnas
Our Correspondent
Mandi Ahmedgarh/Samrala, March 31, 2008.
To protest against the brutal killing of five activists of the RSS at Kanoor in Kerala recently, activists of the RSS, Bajrang Dal and BJP organised dharnas and blocked traffic on the Ludhiana-Malerkotla and Ludhiana-Chandigarh roads today.
The activists raised slogans against the UPA government, which according to them had been “shielding” the killers owing alliance to the CPM.
According to Sukhminderpal Singh Grewal, in charge, district Ludhiana (Rural), BJP, senior leaders of the RSS, Bajrang Dal and Bhartiya Yuva Morcha had led protests at various places in this part of Malwa.
The leaders alleged that the activists of the CPM had been torturing and killing supporters of all parties since 1969 but successive government had failed to take action against them. "It is most inhumane that they (constituents of the UPA government) did not dare condemn the brutal murder of five activists of the RSS. We have organised peaceful dharnas to lodge our protest and will be forced to continue the same in case the killers are not nabbed," said Grewal, claiming that efforts were made to ensure that little inconvenience was caused to the public.
Chamkaur Singh Pandher, Yog Raj Sharda, Jagtar Singh, Nirmal Singh (BJP leaders), Swami Sooriya Pratap ji, Ram Lal, Ruldu Ram Bhairo Munna (RSS leaders), Yogesh Kumar and Ajit Malhotra (Bajrang Dal leaders) led activists at various places.

Jagraon , 21 February 2014 -
National BJP Kisan Morcha Secretary and Prabhari Himachal Pradesh Advocate, Sukhminderpal Singh Grewal said that the Fateh Rally will clear the political scenario to the whole opposition and AAP was a movement not a political party in India. Grewal said that the political scene in the country indicated a wave in favour of BJP, claiming that the party would fare better than what was being projected in poll surveys. After BJP workers meeting regarding preparations of Fateh Rally here today Grewal said that AICC president Shmt. Sonia Gandhi did well by not projecting any candidate for the prime ministerial post ahead of Lok Sabha elections, heeding the BJP advice that Congress vice-president Shri. Rahul Gandhi did not stand any chance vis a vis Shri Narendra Modi. He said that it was for the first time in India's history that only one prime ministerial candidate was in the fray. Grewal said that our party and we are sure of attaining the magic number as Modi has caught the imagination of the country. People are wary of Congress and are desperately waiting for a change. Commenting on the ( AAP ) Aam Aadmi Party's effect Grewal said that its impact had started waning in Delhi itself from where it arose. He said that ( AAP ) Aam Aadmi Party was a movement and not a political party. Its impact is not going to last for long and failing to govern a single state Delhi, they are dabbling in national politics. Grewal also reiterated that there would be no seat-swapping with the SAD and BJP would again contest from Hoshiarpur, Gurdaspur and Amritsar Lok Sabha seats. Grewal said that the Punjab State Unit of ( BJP ) Bharatiya Janata Party also set up Narendra Modi's , " Modi tea stalls " to make a connect with the people in Punjab. He said that the Congress had jibed at Narendra Modi's humble background. It was in retaliation to their remarks that BJP had decided to reach out to the people through tea stalls. We can replicate what is being done in Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh. Grewal today asserted that upcoming SAD-BJP Fateh Rally would change the political landscape of our Country and prove to be the death knell for the Congress. Grewal said that in order to ensure the presence of Bharatiya Janata party workers at Fateh Rally to be addressed by Narendra Modi on February 23 at Jagraon in Ludhiana District. Grewal said that the BJP Punjab state unit has directed its district unit presidents to do proper registration of workers expected to attend the rally by their names and place. He said that as per the available information, the lists of the workers attending the rally from the rural and urban areas of each District across the state will have to be submitted to the state BJP unit before February 22. Grewal said the move would help to get the exact number of BJP workers attending the rally. He said that the Bharatiya Janata Party ( BJP ) has been expecting around five lakh people, including workers of Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) at the rally. Grewal said that all district unit presidents of Punjab have been directed to maintain record of workers coming from different mandals, however it would also help in identifying their workers from that of the Shiromani Akali Dal ( SAD ) present on this Rally.

BJP Kisan Morcha National Secretary and Prabhari Himachal Pradesh Sukhminderpal Singh Grewal today expressed concern that its prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi has become the target of terrorists as part of an international conspiracy. Grewal alleged that the terrorists were getting indirect unknown support from some political parties in the country. He said that there is an international conspiracy to prevent a powerful leader from emerging in India. The Indian Mujahideen attacks, in Patna were part of that conspiracy. Grewal said that these people are getting inspiration from a neighbour, Pakistan and also getting indirect unknown support from some of the parties in this country for political reasons and vote-bank politics.

BJP wing to hold Kisan parliament in Delhi today – Sukhminderpal Singh Grewal
BJP’s Kisan Morcha will hold a two-day farmers’ parliament on Saturday and Sunday in Mavlankar Hall, Rafi Marg New Delhi to discuss the issues faced by the agriculture sector.
Ludhiana: BJP Kisan Morcha National Secretary, Sukhminderpal Singh Grewal said the issues related to agriculture, especially the increasing number of farmers’ suicides, would be discussed at the special Kisan parliament.
“The present condition of agriculture and challenges ahead, Government’s wrong policies and declining income of farmers, market fluctuations and insecurity among farmers, fear of natural calamities and poor market management, increasing agriculture input and lack of infrastructural facilities would be discussed at length during the two-day event,” Grewal said.
Various Bills related to agriculture sector tabled in Parliament will also be discussed, he said. These include the Bills on land acquisition, seeds and pesticides.
Accusing the United Progressive Alliance (UPA) Government of trying to ignore the plight of farmers, Grewal said, “To highlight the plight of farmers, we have now decided to take an initiative and are holding this parliament that will have brainstorming sessions where the bigwigs will discuss issues.”

National BJP Leader Sukhminderpal Singh Grewal said that as national capital Delhi and its citizens fully deserved to be accorded a special treatment for developing it as a Dream City of the world. He said but the Congress party turned it into a Slum Center and defamed it as a Crime Capital of the world. Talking with the media persons here today, Grewal said that we Indian wants to be proud of Delhi as our national capital and wants to see it as the most beautiful city in the world. He said but money that should have gone into turning Delhi into a Model Mega City actually went into the coffers of scamsters and land mafia, coal mafia, with Delhi citizens having to face the embarrassment of Commonwealth Games scam. Grewal said that now the people of Delhi were waiting to punish the Congress party for its biggest sin of bringing disgrace to the national Capital through its massive misrule and bringing it a bad name as the crime capital of the world. He said the people of Delhi are in no mood to forgive the Congress party. Grewal said the massive misrule and utter lack of political and official will has led to Delhi administration resembling a "JUNGAL RAJ". He said that the assembly poll would prove to be a semi-final before the eventual final match leading to a change in the Centre Level. He said the election and the Lok Sabha election will go down in history as "NARENDRA MODI ELECTIONS" in the Indian History. He said now Congress party is facing scourge of a heavy anti-incumbency on the one hand and an unprecedented MODI WAVE blowing through the length and the breadth of the country on the other. The forward looking people of the national capital want to be the first to usher in Narendra Modi era. Grewal said that the Indian youth is playing a leading role in the Modi wave which will sweep the Congress out of the scene. He said that I have never seen such enthusiasm in the youth as I am seeing in Delhi during this election. Grewal said that they all are really eager to rewrite the history of Delhi and the country and they have found a most forceful icon in Narendra Modi to fulfill their dreams of a strong and prosperous India. He said our capital is a place where people get the most expensive electricity, cooking gas, essential commodities like atta, pulses, vegetables such as tomato, onions, and other commodities like milk. It was heading for the biggest defeat in its history in the forthcoming assembly poll in Delhi.
