Recently transferred from Guntakal Junction to Abu Road, WDG3A 14783 at Pakki with train 54757, the 06:25 Ambala Cantt. Jn - Shri Ganganagar Passenger. Monday 12th March 2018.

This was a very welcome bonus move and engine (that when planning the trip and studying the timetable thought might well occur). It was running around 25 minutes late which allowed my train (54560, the Fazilka - Bathinda Passenger) to pass here rather than at the booked Abohar Jn (it eventually left 40 late after the crossing). From later trips down the line it seems a regular occurence.

Ludhiana ( Bhukhari Kalan ) , 2 February 2014 -

BJP Kisan Morcha National Secretary and Prabhari Himachal Pradesh Advocate Sukhminderpal Singh Grewal said that the Government does not take any positive step on the demands of the farmers, now BJP Kisan Morcha is ready for Kisan Aakrosh Divas on 7th February throughout the country. He said on that day morcha workers and farmers will sit on Railway track for which Government of india will be responsible. After workers meeting at village Bhukhari Kalan, talking with the local media here today, Grewal stated that after the Kisan Adhikar Divas by Kisan Morcha on 30th January the death anniversary of Gandhi and Kisan Morcha had stage dharnas in all the 618 district centres in pain and grief to expose anti- farmer polices of Congress-led UPA government before the general public. Grewal said that in Congress led UPA Government, the farmers of our country are facing drought condition created by the policies of government. He said that when the crops are destroyed, it is the death of the farmer not the crops. He said that 1,45,000 farmers were forced to commit suicides during the UPA rule. He alleged that the Government is directly responsible for these suicides. He said that the out dated policies and non implementation of the proposed polices are behind these deaths. Grewal said that the benefit of UPA government’s loan waiver scheme went to banks and not to farmers. He said that the banks are now sending notices of attachment to farmers. The farmers of Yamuna Nagar in Haryana have even offered to give their kidney against payment of loans. Ludhiana , 21 February 2014 -

National BJP Kisan Morcha Secretary and Prabhari Himachal Pradesh Advocate, Sukhminderpal Singh Grewal said that the Fateh Rally will clear the political scenario to the whole opposition and AAP was a movement not a political party in India. Grewal said that the political scene in the country indicated a wave in favour of BJP, claiming that the party would fare better than what was being projected in poll surveys. After BJP workers meeting regarding preparations of Fateh Rally during a Road Show in ludhiana today, Grewal said that AICC president Shmt. Sonia Gandhi did well by not projecting any candidate for the prime ministerial post ahead of Lok Sabha elections, heeding the BJP advice that Congress vice-president Shri. Rahul Gandhi did not stand any chance vis a vis Shri Narendra Modi. He said that it was for the first time in India's history that only one prime ministerial candidate was in the fray. Grewal said that our party and we are sure of attaining the magic number as Modi has caught the imagination of the country. People are wary of Congress and are desperately waiting for a change. Commenting on the ( AAP ) Aam Aadmi Party's effect Grewal said that its impact had started waning in Delhi itself from where it arose. He said that ( AAP ) Aam Aadmi Party was a movement and not a political party. Its impact is not going to last for long and failing to govern a single state Delhi, they are dabbling in national politics. Grewal also reiterated that there would be no seat-swapping with the SAD and BJP would again contest from Hoshiarpur, Gurdaspur and Amritsar Lok Sabha seats. Grewal said that the Punjab State Unit of ( BJP ) Bharatiya Janata Party also set up Narendra Modi's , " Modi tea stalls " to make a connect with the people in Punjab. He said that the Congress had jibed at Narendra Modi's humble background. It was in retaliation to their remarks that BJP had decided to reach out to the people through tea stalls. We can replicate what is being done in Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh. Grewal today asserted that upcoming SAD-BJP Fateh Rally would change the political landscape of our Country and prove to be the death knell for the Congress. Grewal said that in order to ensure the presence of Bharatiya Janata party workers at Fateh Rally to be addressed by Narendra Modi on February 23 at Jagraon in Ludhiana District. Grewal said that the BJP Punjab state unit has directed its district unit presidents to do proper registration of workers expected to attend the rally by their names and place. He said that as per the available information, the lists of the workers attending the rally from the rural and urban areas of each District across the state will have to be submitted to the state BJP unit before February 22. Grewal said the move would help to get the exact number of BJP workers attending the rally. He said that the Bharatiya Janata Party ( BJP ) has been expecting around five lakh people, including workers of Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) at the rally. Grewal said that all district unit presidents of Punjab have been directed to maintain record of workers coming from different mandals, however it would also help in identifying their workers from that of the Shiromani Akali Dal ( SAD ) present on this Rally.

Tughlakabad WDP3A 15527 at Roktak Junction with train 12481, the 13:10 Delhi Jn - Shri Ganganagar Jn InterCity Express on Wednesday 21st March.2018.

All the WDP3As I've had over the years (20, almost half the class) have ranged from excellent to outstanding in the trhash department but this thing was a disgrace to their good name. It was absolutley pathetic: almost practically silent once flat out, chugless and really seemed oto struggle to get up to 100 km/h, with only load 15 in tow. It seemed to load up oddly and I do wonder if it had a control issue of some sort.

Due to the practically unworkable coaching link shared with the Fazilka and Haridwar ICs this was running 3 hours and 40 minutes late at this point, which in my experience seemd to be pretty typical!

Sri Ganganagar ( Rajasthan ) 27 November 2013 -

BJP Kisan Morcha's National Secretary and Himachal Pradesh Parbhari Sukhminderpal Singh Grewal said that Congress has demanded for Narendra Modi resignation as the Gujarat Chief Minister over the alleged illegal surveillance of a woman by state agencies and sought a probe by a sitting Supreme Court judge into the issue. Addressing to a public meeting today here, Grewal said that Congress is on the back foot as far as the leadership battle is concerned as Rahul Gandhi is no match for Narendra Modi. Grewal said that only one family ruled the country for 40 years is a big crisis of leadership in Congress party. Grewal today alleged the Congress government in Rajasthan was misusing state coffers by announcing projects without considering their feasibility or practicability in a bid to woo voters ahead of December 1 of assembly elections. Grewal said that this District is called the Punjab of Rajasthan because of a significant Punjabi population. He today claimed there was a leadership crisis in the Congress party even as it attacked Prime Minister Manmohan Singh saying there was no point in how long somebody held a post as what mattered was the work done in that time. He in an apparent reference to Congress President Sonia Gandhi and Vice President Rahul Gandhi, BJP leader said that while senior Congress members stay in the back-ground, others from the party try to counter Narendra Modi through tweets and taunts. He said that Congress General Secretary Digvijay Singh is known to post tweets critical of Modi our BJP prime ministerial candidate and the Gujarat Chief Minister. He said that Congress has a leadership crisis. They are keeping their leaders behind the scene. Grewal said that there is a leadership contest at the Centre and some people are tired with the leaderless ness. There is no point discussing how long one was Prime Minister. The point is what did you did while in power. Now years won't be counted but work will. He said Congress was in slumber for four years and has woken up ahead of elections announcing freebies. Grewal said that the Congress in the state made the best misuse of the state exchequer and went on a spree of foundation stone-laying ceremonies of a number of projects without considering their feasibility or practicability. Kisan Morcha's Leader called upon the people of Rajasthan not to get carried away by false projections and vote in favour of the BJP for development and growth of the state. He appealed to the people to vote the party to power not only in the state but also at the Centre. Grewal said that there was a crisis of credibility in Congress. He said that only one family ruled the country for 40 years and was still not able to sort out the problems.

New Delhi, February 21, 2009

Bharatiya Janta Party National President Rajnath Singh said today the party’s electoral alliance with Ajit Singh’s Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) would surely materialise. “There is no reason as to why it (the alliance) should not happen. We are optimistic,” Singh said in the capital today at BJP Investor Cell while addressing the Adhiveshan delegates at VP House, New Delhi. The tie up is important for the BJP, which is banking on the RLD’s support for Rajnath Singh’s victory from Ghaziabad in the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections. The RLD wields influence in this area, considered a bastion of RLD chief’s father and former Prime Minister Choudhury Charan Singh.

The BJP, meanwhile, also demanded a joint parliamentary committee probe into the Satyam scam - a matter it had yesterday vehemently argued in the Lok Sabha while opening the debate on the Interim Budget. “Is the government trying to protect Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister by shying away from its responsibility of constituting a JPC on the matter?” BJP’s Ananth Kumar had yesterday asked. Rajnath went a step further, accusing the UPA of shattering India’s economy which was growing at a rate of 8.4 per cent during the NDA regime. “The growth rate is down to 6.5 per cent. When Atalji demitted office, the growth rate was stable at 8.4 per cent. After five years, the UPA has destroyed the economy, causing millions of job losses. Small investors have been wiped out,” Rajnath said, at an investors’ meet here. He also remembered that the NDA had sustained the economic growth in the face of economic sanctions imposed by the US, post Pokharan-II and the Kargil War. “If voted to power, we will put in place an effective regulatory system to prevent Satyam like frauds,” he said. The BJP meanwhile again urged for 4 per cent interest rate on farm loans, with Rajnath saying the party favoured a policy of providing farm subsidies directly to farmers instead of industrial house. “Farmers should get their subsidy money directly, in their bank accounts, not through industries,” he said Sh. Sukhminderpal Singh Grewal, Punjab State President, BJP Investor Cell said that UPA govt. has failed on all fronts of the economy. Grewal expressed the concerns of the retrenchments and job cuts, lacs of people/employees has been shown the door, thousands of shops, industries has been close down, crores of rupees of the small investor has been lost in the share market. In the result investors have lost faith in capital market which has turned into casino. Further he expressed his concerns on weakening of rupee, increasing fiscal deficit and declining exports. It appears that the UPA govt. is not concerned in the economy of the country. At present, it appears there is no finance minister with the UPA govt. while country is going into deepest of the recession. There has been contradictions in the statements of ministers of the UPA govt. which reflects depression and lack of confidence in this govt. Today The BJP investor Cell has organized Niveshak Sanklap Maha Adhiveshan of delegates in worthy Leadership Of Sh. Arun Singh National Convenor, from across the country to discuss 11 point agenda of misconceived, misdirected and mismanaged economy by the UPA govt. From the massive Maha Adhiveshan delegates will return to respective states and will convess for the party in the Lok Sabha Elections for the party candidates. At this time Deepak Sharma Malseehian, Ajay Gupta Mohali, Nipun Sharma Hoshiarpur, Sandeep Tony Jaitu, Rajesh Pathak Bittu Dhandari, Chamkaur Singh Pandher Kohara, Babu Vijaymal Doraha, Ramandeep Singh, Devinder Singh, Harmeet Singh Sonu, Harminder Singh Neetu, Ajay Gupta, Arun Sharma along with 500 BJP Investor Cell Delegates from Punjab were also present.

Ludhiana ( Jagraon ) , 23 February 2014 -

BJP Kisan Morcha All India Secretary and Prabhari Himachal Pradesh Advocate, Sukhminderpal Singh Grewal said that our party BJP prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi on Saturday will address Fateh Rally at Jagraon in Punjab, aiming to win the maximum out of 13 Lok Sabha seats in the State. He said that all preparations for Fateh Rally are completed. Talking with the media persons at Jagraon today, Grewal said that AICC president Shmt. Grewal said that the Punjab State Unit of ( BJP ) Bharatiya Janata Party also set up Narendra Modi "Modi tea stalls" to make a connect with the people in Punjab. He said that the Congress had jibed at Narendra Modi's humble background. It was in retaliation to their remarks that BJP had decided to reach out to the people through tea stalls. We can replicate what is being done in Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh. Grewal today asserted that BJP prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi upcoming SAD-BJP Fateh Rally in Jagraon, Punjab would change the political landscape of our Country and prove to be the death knell for the Congress. Grewal said that in order to ensure the presence of workers BJP Punjab state unit has directed its district unit presidents to do proper registration of workers expected to attend the rally by their names and place. He said that as per the available information, the lists of the workers attending the rally from the rural and urban areas of each District across the state will have to be submitted to the state BJP unit before February 22. Grewal said the move would help to get the exact number of BJP workers attending the rally. He said that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP ) has been expecting around five lakh people, including workers of Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) at the rally. Grewal said that all district unit presidents of Punjab have been directed to maintain record of workers coming from different BJP mandals in the State.
