The Triumph Daytona and Daytona Super 3 (model codes T331, T332, T343, T344, T354 and T357) is a three or four-cylinder British sports motorcycle. These bikes were produced at Triumph, Hinkley. The Daytona range uses a modular liquid-cooled double overhead camshaft (DOHC) engine design in a steel frame with a large-diameter backbone design. The modular design ensured that a variety of models could be offered whilst keeping production costs under control. The high-tensile steel tubular frame has a large diameter spine based on that of the Triumph Bonneville T140, though engine oil is not held in the frame.

In 1993 the 750 engine option was dropped in favour of an 885 cc triple engine that was already in use with the Trident and Trophy range.

This Daytona Super 3, was a lightened 900 cc machine that used a higher power engine jointly developed by Triumph and Cosworth, available as a Limited Edition of 805 machines and built during 1994-95. When it was released the Super 111 became an overnight classic with a host of changes from the standard model, the major one being a significantly more powerful engine. The power improvements were due to a collaboration with the tuning gurus at Cosworth and was accomplished by using higher compression pistons and a redesigned cylinder head. The end result was a power increase from 97 bhp to 115 bhp. Overall the Super III was a more responsive and higher performance ride, and also had many parts switched to carbon fibre and improved brakes.

This bike was offered, for sale at the British Motorcycle Museums, H + H Auction 6th April 2022 selling for £ 5,175 including buyers premium

I don't exactly know why, but I drove through Shoprite Plaza around 7 a.m. this morning. I was making some camera adjustments, when, out of the corner of my eye, I saw this awesome looking bike parked where the employees usually park their motorcycles. Owner was probably a night crew worker at the store. So, I drove over, closer to it, as it was still pretty dark out, and got a quick shot of it while these two women were sitting at the picnic table. Then I drove away. lol...

Introduced in 1934, just two years before Sunbeam motorcycles were sold to AMC. The Model 95 replaced the Model 90 costing a hefty £ 95-10 shillings. It ran on slightly larger wheels than the Model 90 and came in Sunbeams traditional black weatherproof finish, the patented Sunbeam ‘Little Oil Bath Chain case’, and much of the bike was hand finished. In 1935 its price was reduced to £85 and there was a choice of two models, a road or race version, the race version could come race tuned for an extra £ 10 with a guaranteed top speed of 96mph.

This bike was the property of the late Leslie Hobbs one of the founder members of the Sunbeam register

This bike was offered, at the British Motorcycle Museums, H + H Auction 6th April 2022 selling for £ 17,250 including buyers premium

In 1984, Suzuki released the first GSX-R, then in 1985 a 750cc GSX-R was introduced and followed by an 1100cc version in 1986. If the 750cc bike was a fast and capable race-bike for the street, the 1100 was an exercise in raw power and excess. Since then the GSX-R while remaining a very potent sports bike has undergone, several generations of change

The sixth generation appeared in 2001 with a total redesign of the engine, now with dual throttle valve electronic fuel injection. A new frame was also introduced in this model that was lighter, and had a longer swingarm than the previous model. Performance was improved, and the 2000 model became one of the most appreciated of all GSX-Rs. In 2001 a new big-bore GSX-R was offered. In place of the unique 1100cc displacement of the old model a more standard displacement of 1000cc was produced. (This aligned better with some racing series.)The new 1000 was built with the "modern style" architecture and it resulted in an even larger weight loss for the litre-bike: from 487 lb to 374 lb

Team Classic Suzuki fielded Michael Dunlop, Lee Johnston and Nick Jefferies riding for Steve Wheatman’s for 2016 Dunlop took the inaugural Formula 1 Classic TT in spectacular style in 2013 leading the race from start to finish despite suffering from an oil leak. Lapping at a scorching 123.196mph, the Ballymoney rider won the race by almost a minute from then team-mate Conor Cummins, out of luck in 2014 but won again in 2015 setting an overall lap record of 133.962mph at this year’s TT, claim his second Classic TT victory.
