I went down to Brands Hatch race circuit with a friend for a track day; he was riding, I was shooting. This shot was of one of the other riders, who was impressing everyone with his speed.
My motorbike, a Honda CBR125 by the O2 Arena, with Canary Wharf for a background. I couldn't shoot the shot I wanted as it was quite busy, and moments before I took this picture the Barclays light went off! Anyway, I've had this bike for a while and realised I didn't have a shot of it, so had to rectify that!
I'm settling in up in Carlisle now, just sorting out all the boring stuff, so will hopefully be back up online properly in the next week or two.

BSA's earlier 500cc single was the BSA Gold Star, a pre-unit machine with a duplex frame similar to that of the Golden Flash twin. The Gold Star was not considered suitable for the progression to unit construction. The name was revived when the 250 cc BSA C15/Starfire was eventually developed into the 500 cc B50. The dry sump B50 included features such as oil in frame and the electrics in a single removable pod. BSA kept production costs down by using parts across a range of models, launched in 1971.
B50 bikes were successful in both road-racing and off-road events. A modestly modified B50 Gold Star 500 entered by Mead & Tomkinson of Hereford, England and ridden by Nigel Rollason and Clive Brown won the 500cc class in both the Thruxton 500 miler and the Barcelona 24 hours ( at the Montjuïc circuit), and won the Zolder 24-hour race outright. Also, a B50 fielded by Mead & Tomkinson once held the class lap record in the Production Isle of Man TT

The Honda CBR600F is a CBR series 600 cubic centimetres (36.6 cubic inches) inline four-cylinder sport bike, originally introduced in 1987 and known as Hurricane in the USA he subsequent models are designated as CBR600F2, F3, F4, and F4i respectively
The CBR 600F-2 was the second incarnation of the CBR600 produced from 1991 to 1994 Development of the CBR600F2 began in early 1989 the bike looked faster and sleeker than the more blocky first generation bike, and test results were superior: few motorcycles in the 1990s had the performance ability of the F2

Part of the peloton of riders passing during stage three of the OVO sponsored Tour of Britain for 2017. This stage was held around my town, four and a half hours of cycling around North Lincolnshire and finishing in the centre of Scunthorpe.
This image shows the group heading into the south side of Scunthorpe before they went back into the countryside for another couple of hours before then coming back into town for the finish line.
