Hold me fast, hold me fast, cause I'm a hopeless wanderer - Mumford & Sons
Here's a (German) article about the project I'm incredibly proud to be part of:
From the window of a speeding car.
SLR Magic 8mm f4 lens.
720nm+ infrared converted Olympus OMD EM5 mk2.
70013 "Oliver Cromwell" powers past the lens on a fast vans working through Quorn & Woodhouse on a TLE charter.
Últimamente me he sentido muy atraído por las largas exposiciones.
-FD 50mm 1:1.8 full of dust.
-Kodak ProImage 100.
(A little bit edited because overexposure.)
(Almost) Superlatives
The Marxloh Mosque, one of the largest in Germany (de.wikipedia.org/wiki/DITIB-Merkez-Moschee), behind it Schwelgern, one of the largest smelting works in Germany, at least the one with the tallest chimneys... de.wikipedia.org/wiki/ThyssenKrupp-Stahlwerk_Schwelgern
In the foreground, the slip road to the A 59 motorway, into another, unimportant town, almost into another world...
Sony 135mm 1.8 GM.
This fast moving Thunder Cloud caught up the sun much faster than I thought, so I could not reach to the spot that I wanted, I had to stop and find the best possible place. For Landscape Photography the Sony 135mm 1.8 GM is very sharp, with excellent contrast and colors.
Our Frodo loves to sit in his window perch where he can look out of three different windows at once, taking in all the sights of the bird, squirrel and chipmunk activity.
Lately Frodo has become a fast-footed feline of expert escaping! Thankfully the times he's escaped the weather has been most unpleasant and he has returned without too much time lapsing... once he realizes there are no treats, tummy rubs or nice comfy perches to sleep on.
Today was chilly, windy and very rainy, and it looks like I captured him day dreaming - most likely wondering why he keeps trying to escape when it's just so darn nice inside!
The Kuang Si (Kaung Xi) waterfalls southwest of Luang Prabang in Laos is a travertine falls where the water flows over a series of limestone ledges. During the fall monsoon season the water levels rise resulting in some great photo opportunities. This is a long exposure of one of the lower falls.

If you should be in the neighborhood, please have a look!

A man with two crutches, a cell phone, and pile of stuffed shopping bags, hanging out on the main promenade in Riyeka, next to Zara. Sincere best wishes to all who see this.
Happy Mono Monday, Happy Bench Monday.
I’ll be traveling again mid-week to begin our planned 2020 trip to Portugal. Much more Croatian beauty to express after this rather dour start. Probably highlights of our Douro cruise will intervene for a couple of weeks.
