A fast and furious Collett designed ‘Castle’ 4-6-0 no.7029 'Clun Castle' hauls the second week running of Vintage Trains Dorridge-York "Christmas White Rose" on the final leg into York at Colton Junction.
The green tiger beetle (Cicindela campestris; Groene zandloopkever (Dutch)) is one of the fastest running insects—relative to body size. It can hit speeds up to 5.6 mph (9 km/h). Tiger beetles are named for their aggressive hunting style. They have large mandibles used to grab and dismember prey—mainly ants, spiders, and other small insects.

Today we hit 58*. Like WOW and awesome. Walked way out to north point from the Lighthouse. Even found a few Petokey stones. My view here is looking back towards the lighthouse in the far distant. I KNOW THIS WON'T LAST. :)

Truth sent his updated bangs as group gift today and as I found a hat, I removed my hair, put a hairbase and only mixed 2 types of bangs to get the hair I wanted. And voilà, we can all wear hats now in SL!

Man sieht den Leuchtturm von fast überall in Warnemünde. Er ist auch zum Wahrzeichen des kleinen Seebades geworden. Am Fuße des Leuchtturms steht Warnemündes berühmter „Teepott“, ein runder Bau mit eigenwilligem Dach sowie Cafés und Restaurants.
You can see the lighthouse from almost everywhere in Warnemünde. It has also become the symbol of the small seaside resort. At the foot of the lighthouse there is Warnemünde's famous "tea pot", a round building with an idiosyncratic roof, as well as cafés and restaurants.
Sometimes when Jasper gets going really fast there is some spontaneous combustion in his wake. But, combine that kind of speed with the heat of the Sonoran Desert and things can happen. No worries. A little ice water and Jasper is back to being cool as a cucumber.

Little fast food today in a home made mix.
Bread, home made avocado and tuna fish salad with home made mayonnaise, iceberg salad, home made pickles, onion, meat mix on grill, cheese, ketchup.
Doesn't look like much (fast food, fast shot), but I like it.
Tomorrow I will tell you about that salad, a must try.

This was taken in a theme park in Guatemala.
Our Magnolia Tulip tree seemed to come to life overnight, with little shoots of greenery all over. Then just as suddenly there were little buds everywhere!
Then before we knew it, it was covered with these blooms just starting to open with more little buds still popping up. It all happened so fast!
So on a sunny afternoon I grabbed some shots while I still could, before it was all over.

Uploaded for 117 Pictures in 2017 #26 Selective colour. I'm aware the date taken isn't showing for this image but I did definitely take it in January 2017, my sister came over from England to visit for my 50th birthday on 16th January & we went wandering around Waterford city. I was hoping the Flickr photo editor which replaced Aviary would keep the selective colour feature but sadly it didn't. I don't have software that does selective colour nor is it available on my camera. If I can work out another way to do a selective colour image which shows the actual date I will & replace this one before the end of the year.
Reading Blue Mountain and Northern Railroads "NRFF" (North Reading Fast Freight) rumbles across the Lehigh River as they enter the town of White Haven, PA. Leading the train on this given day is all three of the railroads units that are painted in a paint scheme for the Fast Freight.
