Sushi zooming past at high speed. You have to be quick to catch it!
To make Fast Sushi you will need:
- 1 camera
- 1 support for the camera.
- 1 shutter release cable (optional)
Method
- Position the camera on the support, pointing at the sushi. Purists will claim you need a tripod for this bit, but that's just nonsense. I used a napkin dispenser.
- Set the camera to a longish kind of exposure. I found 1.3 seconds worked perfectly.
- Attach the shutter release cable (available for about tuppence from eBay). If you don't have a shutter release cable, don't panic! Just set the camera to delayed capture mode - you know, the one that lets you run round into the picture. (Do not, however, run round into the picture.)
- Fire the shutter.
Your Fast Sushi will be ready to serve in around 1.3 seconds.
Compare with Slow Sushi.

Ever since the BK in Madison burned down and is probably a total loss, this is one of the few BK playplaces left in Ohio.

In the new part of the Zoo in Emmen, there is a beautiful pinguin rock. You can walk between the pinguins, there is a pinguin school and you can watch them under water!
Wilson Bridge, Alexandria Virginia. I shot this while on a field trip with the Casual Photographers in Chantilly Meetup Group. Had a lot of fun.
