Day 159-365

Boston Blaisdale demonstrates how to use the store navigation HUD at the Fancy Decor main store.

If you know what you're looking for, this HUD helps you get there quick! It's a great alternative to area search and has images linked to each release so you can see what you're teleporting to.

Happy Tuesday, UGH It was another long day But one day closer to the weekend :)

Nice shot of a couple of glasses in the kitchen with the main focus on the middle glass.

One of the larger bedrooms at Lynnewood Hall in Elkins Park, Pennsylvania. With 110 rooms, 55 bedrooms, and 100,000 square feet, Lynnewood Hall is the second largest Gilded Age mansion left in the U.S. and a magnificent example of architecture by Architect Horace Trumbauer. For the fascinating history of the home known as the "American Versailles", see the Lynnewood Hall Preservation Foundation's website at LynnewoodHallPreservation.org/history, where you can become a Patreon supporter and help the restoration efforts.

The striking streetlights on Howard between Third and Fourth Streets were designed by Philippe Starck. During the day, the lamp portion at the top moves to a vertical position, making the structure look like a 35-foot-high fountain pen. At dusk, the light fixture becomes horizontal, making it look like a bird. (source: SF Chronicle)

for some reason i got really ambitious this month and thought that it would be a fun idea to make my own place settings for my dining room table. i gathered all of the materials i needed and i finally had a chance to start making them. well, two and a half hours later and i finished one and got a callous on my thumb. rad. so between now and thursday i have to make three more... and a tree skirt! i just keep trying to envision my final product and how glamorous my table is going to look! :D

This photo featured in the PoPville blog.

Found parked in a parking lot.

Velvet and sheer fabric with glittery silver decoration. A colleague brought it from Turkey a few years ago.

Actually this image started with the dried leaves from autumn which I had stuck in this vase and then I thought I should take a picture before throwing the leaves out. Then I needed a background and I used this fancy scarf and a black one underneath it. It wasn't big enough and I had to blacken the wall in PS.

I am not 100% happy with my PS work but I can't undo certain steps anymore, some layers must have "melted".

Would keep the sun out of your eyes

Don’t worry, this isn’t a mean hunt. Yes, I am wearing animal print; however, I want you to focus on what you can get!

This is not an old barn - the people just had the money to construct this stone barn, with fancy windows, gables, and a cupola. Snow was flying by as I took this shot.

This chicken lives at Hillside Animal Sanctuary at West Runton, Norfolk.

Two New Year's ago, we took this old frame and decorated it with jewelry, etc. from the family treasure (or so you might say!). This New Year's Eve, we made some additions and adjustments! This is great for holding, though rather heavy, to snap plctures at NYE!

Thought I might share this idea with others. Next time I see the family members, I plan to get them to sign the back of the frame as to which year they worked on the frame. Planning on using it at each NYE party! Might even pick up some old jewelry at garage sales, Goodwill to add to this!

Yep... it's from Feb 16th. Enough already? I have more...
