Just a couple of weeks ago the scenery in Central Wisconsin was glorious. Today, the trees stand bare, November has arrived.
Am 3. Oktober 2025 führte mich eine Wanderung auf den Großen Hörselberg in Thüringen – bei klarem Licht, warmem Herbstwind und weitem Blick über das Land.
Von oben reichte die Sicht bis zum Großen Inselsberg und hinüber nach Eisenach, wo die Wartburg in der Sonne glänzte.
Die Fujifilm X-H2 war mein Begleiter – ideal, um Farben, Strukturen und die ruhige Weite dieses Tages festzuhalten. Kein Nebel, keine Eile, nur Licht, Landschaft und Stille.

This was our view for a day (we have this new crazy adventure of ours to go camping with a rooftop tent), but Mr. Wongzu was not impressed at all ;P.
On a side note, he did great in a new environment and new habits. This builds his confidence and it shows (although he looks a bit awkward here because the dock was moving a little. Yet, he did not freak out).

A palette of gold and verdurous dominate the grounds of this Park as fall arrives fully to Minnesota
A beautifully weathered classic convertible, resting amidst a vibrant pumpkin patch on a sunny autumn day. The car's rustic charm, with peeling paint and a serene countryside backdrop, perfectly complements the seasonal setting. A nostalgic blend of vintage vibes and harvest festival warmth.
We went to South Vermont for the week-end and it pretty much rained the whole time... But it was so beautiful still and we enjoyed discovering this lovely state.

One of the spots Geena and I took photos next was this shaded part of the park where it offered a bit of soft, diffused light. Juxtaposed to the brightly lit background, it was just perfect. The way that she held her gaze was relaxing that she would have enjoyed her solitude if she were all by herself. It was just easy to photograph her.

Ein ruhiger Herbsttag in Weimar, aufgenommen am 4. Oktober 2025 mit der Fujifilm X-H2.
Weiches Licht, klare Luft, Blätter in warmen Farbtönen – die Stadt zeigt im Herbst eine eigene, stille Schönheit. Zwischen Altstadt, Park an der Ilm und kleinen Gassen entstanden diese Aufnahmen, ohne Plan, einfach beim Gehen und Beobachten.
Ich wollte das Gefühl festhalten, das der Herbst in Weimar hinterlässt – still, farbig, vergänglich und friedlich.
