We went to Holy Hill segment of Ice Age Trail and found nature's beauty!

The scene was picturesque; this stunning adult Southern Red-backed Salamander (Plethodon serratus) capped off a truly mesmerizing morning of flipping for these guys. This was the last individual I photographed as a light rain and thunderstorm approached the foggy stream side. Nearby lichen- and moss-covered rocks eventuated the rich reds this salamander possessed, making this my favorite photo taken on this trip.

Gyeongbokgung Palace, the largest of the Five Grand Palaces built by the Joseon dynasty, stands majestically during the vibrant autumn season. The reflection of the palace in the calm waters and the surrounding trees with their red and orange hues create a picturesque scene. This image captures the serene beauty and rich history of Seoul, South Korea.
