Another autumn shot from my recent trip to the Dubh Allt. This is the last fall on the burn, a triple cascade c 6m high.
I had not done underwater fall leafs for many years so when I saw them, it was fun to play with them... from clear shots to abstract images With all the rain we are having now, I am afraid I won't be able to capture them again this fall.

I now finally have time to catch up on copying all my Jackson Hole, Wyoming and Colorado fall photos from my recent to photo trips to my external hard drive ... seems like it's taking forever !
Over time I will post photos from my Oct. 1-5, 2015 Jackson Hole fall photo trip but I thought I'd first post a photo from my Oct. 9-14, 2015 Colorado fall color photo trip first where the light was just extraordinary ... but that's the norm for Colorado's fall colors.
If you plan to go to Colorado next year and want to meet up for a day and head out early to shoot the colors or if you want to get together and shoot the Milky Way at night in some really nice areas let me know.
I have always said Jackson Hole, Wyoming (USA) is beautiful in the fall but Colorado is simply awesome in the fall !
Here's one I took on the morning of Oct. 10 in the Sneffels Mountain Range.

For the second time recently a fire has helped me get a shot. Just to the right of this scene I could see a huge cloud of smoke from a controlled burn. Luckily for me the smoke created some great layering and a purple cast for the Wet Mountains near Westcliffe Colorado.
I used a graduated ND filter for this shot, not HDR.
