Spotted these beautiful Amanita's while walking Echo [and Snickers] at the river. I hope you're all doing well?
It's fall colors time so here's my card in the hat.
I recently spent some time chasing fall colors up in the Canadian rockies. We hit the jackpot as far as timing our arrival, big hats off to William McIntosh for timing the trip just right, which included a last minute schedule change to arrive one week later in September trying to time it just right. To make things more interesting Mother Nature decided to bring in winter at the same time celebrating with several snow flurries and an avalanche on the hike from the lodge to the campground, thats after the ranger warned us to stay away from the upper meadow where a mother grizzly and her two cubs had been spotted foraging for food, then after some other informal information about the weather and the fact that they had to shut-off the water to the campground because the pipes where freezing, our next question was where do we get water now, to which they replied the stream at the back of the campground......In the upper meadow!!!!
Thanks for taking the time to take a look at my photos, I am always grateful for your views, comments, faves, and support, they are truly appreciated!! Have a great day my friends!! :)

Killbear Provincial Park was exploding with colour this fall. With dramatic skies and leaves turning this fall it was just amazing.
This photo inspired by the paintings of the group of seven I decided to add pop to the colour as well as adding a paint brush effect. I am still trying to master this effect, I would be interested in your ideas aboiut thhis.
Sometimes I shoot out the window of the car for fun. this looks like a kids watercolor but it is just the way the camera captured the rush of colors.
The male cardinals are nice, but personally I think the females are much more attractive looking and interesting to photograph.
Nothing better than the 866 as a southbound leader in the fall. Here BLE 866 and three others make great time as they haul a short ore train through MD South on a beautiful fall day.
“Autumn leaves are falling, filling up the streets; golden colors on the lawn, nature’s trick or treat!”
fall is here a great time of year
i think.....
looking at my favorite tree changing colors was not to be.
the leaves fell off three weeks ago, on no. please don't go.
you left too soon so there wasn't any room. where's my fall!!!!!!
i walked away from fall that's all.
the colors are not changing the leaves are confused
the weather has left us befuddled just like early june
when summer was odd when summer wasn't sure
oh, what to do where to go.
i think i understand now
the weather is changing it will be new
oh what to do.
oh what to do.

Woods in late afternoon on a sunny fall day all the orange was lit up Was great defused sunlight
Even though most of these woods are tall pines and cedar the smaller hardwoods pop in the fall against the dark forest
Even as gray and brown as it is outside, if you look hard there is always something to shoot!
It was the texture of the leaf that caught my eye.
