Toronto slips into fall. It's beautiful for sure, but I regret summer's end.

Maybe I was just built for a warm climate.

More of the lovely Katie - this time some black and white action.

This was taken at the Jelly Belly plant in Fairfield. I was really pleased with the detail that I was able to get in the low light. No flashes were allowed, so I amped up the iso on my D500 to capture some interesting images. This was a hand held shot with room lighting shot through a plexiglass window.

I'm going back up to the area to pick up my daughter and try to get some pictures of the wild tule elk that live in a wild life refuge near Fairfield.. Hopefully, I will have some images to share in the near future. This is the first weekend in a month that rain isn't in the forecast. Not that I'm complaining, we will take all the moisture that the skies are willing to give us.

Another favorite spot of mine, just minutes from my house. Now that the colours are changing I'm making a point to head back and see how the changing seasons affect the scene.

Fluid Fall muted colors on this scenic Autumn shot because of a heavy flow of water filtering the view, shot in North Carolina.

525,600 minutes, 525,000 moments so dear.

525,600 minutes - how do you measure, measure a year?

In daylights, in sunsets, in midnights, in cups of coffee.

In inches, in miles, in laughter, in strife.

In 525,600 minutes - how do you measure a year in the life?

How about love? How about love? How about love?

Measure in love.

Seasons of love.

525,600 minutes! 525,000 journeys to plan.

525,600 minutes - how can you measure the life of a woman or man?

In truths that she learned, or in times that he cried.

In bridges he burned, or the way that she died.

It's time now to sing out,

Thou the story never ends let's celebrate remember a year in the life of friends.

Remember the love!

Remember the love! Remember the love!

Measure in love.

Seasons of love! Seasons of love.

a sample of the Fall color around here......we don't have many hardwood trees around this part of Texas...they don't do well here, so we don't have a lot of Fall color. This tree looked like it was glowing with the sun shining down on it.

The red squirrel has decided that if he's going to eat the seeds that fall from the feeder, he's got to get out of the rocks.
