Are we to look at cherry blossoms only in full bloom, the moon only when it is cloudless? To long for the moon while looking on the rain, to lower the blinds and be unaware of the passing of spring—these are even more deeply moving. This is one of many wonderful shot's i got from my trip to Coal Mine Branch Falls, i was very pleased with the amount of water flowing over the falls and i really enjoyed the challenge of creating an interesting foreground, and i think i did my best i could on this one! I hope you enjoy :)
A beautiful scene from the Smoky Mountains a few years ago which I just now get around to work on. Love that place!
I just printed this one in Epson Hot Press natural paper and it looks absolutely beautiful.
Used a a polarizing neutral filter for this one.

Always stay well back from rushing water in Yosemite, and do not swim or even wade in any pool above a waterfall. Be very careful around wet rocks. Over the years, quite a few people have been swept over waterfalls in Yosemite.
There was an article in the newspaper the other day about the garden center I go to, and how cool-weather favorite pansies often survive the area’s winter temperatures. I planted these in the railing planter that my squirrel friends like to dig up – let’s see if the pansies survive either ;-)
