I took two pictures of this factory building in Copenhagen some time ago, but in both pictures were obstacles. I made a composite to get the most details out of this beautiful factory building.

This is the second time in the last few years that this factory that makes pet toys catches fire.

I forget what town it was, but somewhere on the road back from Caprock Canyon we stopped at an old grain silo/factory. Amazingly, it wasn't boarded off. So I explored. It was very eerie (sp). Everything was abandoned, as if overnight. It was like a museum of old machines. People had worked very hard in this place in some other time.

All fear and shudder, I got my first cross-processed slide film back today. These are the first scans from this roll.

Not sure how to treat this scanner-wise but after some fruitful deliberation and contemplation I decided to scan them as slides, and then invert in the Gimp 2.0... I must admit I also tweaked the colour balance somewhat as I didn't really like the azure hue that I got in the 'raw' scans - I think that's more the fault of the scanner not being balanced properly than the actual film.

Anyway, there is (some) more where this came from. I'll be back.

Cedi Bead Factory had all these photos on the wall. I hadn't even started glass bead making at this stage, so I had no idea of who or what I was taking photos of. Turns out I'm a big fan of Diana East now :)
