All fear and shudder, I got my first cross-processed slide film back today. These are the first scans from this roll.
Not sure how to treat this scanner-wise but after some fruitful deliberation and contemplation I decided to scan them as slides, and then invert in the Gimp 2.0... I must admit I also tweaked the colour balance somewhat as I didn't really like the azure hue that I got in the 'raw' scans - I think that's more the fault of the scanner not being balanced properly than the actual film.
Anyway, there is (some) more where this came from. I'll be back.

Camera: Minolta X-500 (I fear my baby is ill, there seems to be something wrong with the focusing!)
Film: Kodak Elite Chrome 100, X-pro'ed by lab
Scanner: Canoscan 8800f.
Taken in a hurry as my dad drove past this on the highway. The light was actually quite strong and the photo is actually mostly edited to reduce the noise in the sky rather than enhance any of the color in the original exposure. The setting sun opened from behind me shedding light onto this factory. A small lake is in front of it.
A visit to a cloisonne factory/sales room, featuring demonstrations of stages in creating cloisonne vases.
taken during Open House Chicago 2017 through the Chicago Architecture Foundation tours - we were lucky enough to also learn about the history of this building and the potential future use from the current owner - while it's obviously not a bread factory at the moment, it's also not exactly abandoned. They're looking into converting it to a data center, using some of the existing architectural features (such as heat issues) to serve a more modern purpose.
