This is one of my new factory Blythes. This one appears to be a longer haired, no bangs/ fringe version of Simply Lilac. She has gorgeous long Lilac hair and even purple eyelids and matching pullring. I really like this girl & her eye chips have a really pretty assortment of colors. I made her a dress out of some vintage fabric and made her some shoes in my little shoe making factory ;)

Lego is building its seventh Lego factory south of Richmond, Virginia. The factory is the first one in North America.

It is in Chesterfield County, less than 30 minutes from my home.

I visited the site today and toured the small visitors center. It is a big yellow Lego block!

Inside was a model of the factory. Of course, it was made of Lego!

My grandfather built a house and pond on this land to raise ducks, chickens, geese, and dogs in a peaceful environment where he could just draw all day. The government allowed private companies to build factories all around his house after it was built. I guess there's another argument for zoning restrictions.

The factory was razed shortly after I shot these. Stacey asked me where I wanted to go for my birthday -- the day I shot these -- and I recall saying I wanted to go to Exide before wherever we went after.

An outhouse in the middle of the woods on the grounds of this defunct DDR/GDR era factory outside Leuenberg in Brandenburg Germany. About 30 miles east of Berlin.
