The Factory, Alston, Cumbria
All fear and shudder, I got my first cross-processed slide film back today. These are the first scans from this roll.
Not sure how to treat this scanner-wise but after some fruitful deliberation and contemplation I decided to scan them as slides, and then invert in the Gimp 2.0... I must admit I also tweaked the colour balance somewhat as I didn't really like the azure hue that I got in the 'raw' scans - I think that's more the fault of the scanner not being balanced properly than the actual film.
Anyway, there is (some) more where this came from. I'll be back.

In January I visited Germany's largest city, and home of the most disturbed, historical places and Berlin is home to 153 museums. This is most inspirational places in Europe I have visited! These images display some of the culture and disturbance I found. And although these images portray a sense of tragedy, it is also shared with sympathy and empathy for everyone who suffered here.
The Factory at the End of Our Street
John Wilkinson’s beautiful 'The Factory at the End of Our Street' can be found on Gibraltar Street. It’s part of the Kelham Island Arts & Cultural Heritage Trail which is transforming the telecommunications cabinets around the area into colourful works of art.
This once green utility cabinet has been painted using acrylic paints with scenes of times past from the area which was once Sheffield’s industrial heartland.

Dalla sede principale della Scuderia Ferrari s.p.a. in via Trento Trieste a Modena, Enzo Ferrari scelse di trasferirsi a Maranello, poiché come scrisse nelle sue memorie, possedeva un "fazzoletto di terreno nelle immediate vicinanze del luogo dove si trova oggi la fabbrica".
