Another composition attempt in el Teide National Park.

During our vacation here, we unfortunately felt the effects of the Calima for a few days. In the meantime, however, I have found a few ways to reduce the Sahara haze during photo development and thus give the photo back the corresponding dynamic.

Many thanks for your visit, kind comments and favs.

So, a lampwork glass bead apparently hatched from a silkworm cocoon and grew a feather. Of course it did. :)

One of my small bottles now without a cork but filled with water. Placed on the decorative gift bag that I bought many months ago from our local convenience store, and lit with a single lamp.

Took a bit of time to align the lens and was deceived with what the camera was seeing and what I was - all about depth of field. When the lens was stopped down then I got the effect I saw and wanted.

Applied a 'focal black & white' filter to give attention to the colours within the bottle.

Yangon - Sule Pagoda

MYA5023.F

The Sule Pagoda Burmese stupa located in the heart of downtown Yangon, occupying the centre of the city and an important space in contemporary Burmese politics, ideology and geography. According to legend, it was built before the Shwedagon Pagoda during the time of the Buddha, making it more than 2,600 years old. Burmese legend states that the site for the Shwedagon Pagoda was asked to be revealed from an old nat who resided at the place where the Sule Pagoda now stands.

The Sule Pagoda has been the focal point of both Yangon and Burmese politics. It has served as a rallying point in both the 1988 uprisings and 2007 Saffron Revolution.

The pagoda is listed on the Yangon City Heritage List.

**STARLESS VERSION OF THE NORTH AMERICA NEBULA**

Well, managed to get this in one night. Conditions were not to bad but the moon was at 80% so I took the Ha first and the Oiii when the moon was lower. Took long than expected as the guide camera stopped working 3 times which required me to unplug and reconnect, need to look into that. Well, though the moon is on its way out so are the clear skies according to the weather forecast for the next two weeks so I guess no more imaging.

Object Description:-

This is NGC 7000 the North America Nebula. It is an emission Nebula in the constellation of Cygnus at a distance of approximate 1,600 - 1,800 ly with a visual mag of 4.0 and is made up mainly of ionized hydrogen. The brightest part is known as the Cygnus Wall which exhibits the most concentrated area of star formation. A band of interstellar gas between us and the nebula absorbs the light of the stars giving it this unique shape.

The uMhlanga lighthouse was completed in 1954. Construction was completed in four days and 19 hours. The circular concrete tower, painted white with a red band at the top, stands 21 metres above the beach and has a focal plane height of 25 metres. The fixed red light enables ships waiting to anchor in the outer anchorage, to monitor their position. If the red light is undetectable, the ship's anchors have probably dragged and are too close to shore. The lighthouse has never had an official ‘keeper’. The Oyster Box Hotel, which was built in 1869, has been the tower’s custodian. The construction of the lighthouse cost R23 838. There are 95 steps to the top of the uMhlanga Lighthouse.

What a cool scene I sensed here as I turned the corner first. As always, the people were helpful and so very nice. Many are rather curious, or let's put it this way, they pretend to be curious. (¬‿¬)

The composition was already clear to me, as I had already been here the day before and was able to memorize my position well. This photo is perhaps a little more sombre, but on closer inspection, the joy and colors here have by no means disappeared. Because these details, joy and color will always be part of my photos.

I love her art Hania Rani so young and so talented. The song Glass the video ♫ was recorded in Berlin and many sequences were shot in the district where I grew up. Speaking of Berlin, I may soon have something completely new from Berlin in terms of photography. But will that be something for Flickr? I'm not sure yet. Anyway, I won't have much time to share photos anytime soon, but I'll try to keep an eye on your excellent work.

Description:

One of the most famous and best known objects in the sky is this large spiral galaxy, which can be seen with the unaided eye in a dark-sky location late in the northern hemisphere summer and in the autumn.

M31 is about 50% larger than our own Milky Way galaxy, and lies at a distance of about 2.5 million light years. For more information about M31, click here:
