Found some old photos & negatives and scanned them. Here at San Diego in 1988, a Continental MD-80 passes behind a Federal Express Boeing 727.
The 'Centenary Express' catering train ran to mark the centenary of on board train catering, a selection of catering vehicles from Travellers Fare and the National Railway Museum was taken around the country.
Some legs of the tour were steam hauled by 4472 'Flying Scotsman' and others by 6000 'King George V', captured here en route to Edinbrugh powering away from New Mills South Junc, heading towards the Hope Valley and Sheffield, with an unidentified class 47 in charge.

i'm a sydney girl at heart and as much as i hate to admit, the weather will too often express my mood for the day! as the winter lingers...esp in ny, its pretty hard to get me out from under the covers, you're likely to find me 'down under' them a little later! Luckily, as cold as it is here in the winter, the sun still shines often..not like europe where it can be gray for months on end!
i snapped this thru a foggy passenger window, upped the contrast and saturation a bit in picnik...the blackberry picks up some funky tones!

Platinum Express of Wolverhampton Volvo 9700 P10 TNM is seen in Rottingdean yesterday, 2nd May, 2017. It was new to Callinans as 08-G-805.
HWH based WAP-4 loco - 22415 (ex-WAP-6) pulled into platform number - 09 at Howrah station yard with 12342 (Asansol-Howrah) Agni Veena Express at its tow !!
I needed some more box cars and these express cars seemed pretty good candidates. This one is a Lakawanna Road.
