Where did I go to eat in France? KFC! In France they use the English name, but in Québec it's translated to Poulet Frit Kentucky.

Another sighting of a Dual-Lite Exquisite with the Denver code option along with having the early font as well! Notice: the earlier Dual-Lite Exquisites that had the Denver code option used an open, fiberglass face as opposed to the all steel green face of the newer Exquisites with this option.

Personally, I think that every freeway exit in Las Vegas should have

an exit number of 21 (blackjack), 7 (craps), or 11 (craps).

Even the doors blended perfectly into the architecture.

This guy was walking along the shoulder of I-17, headed north, against the flow of traffic. His backpack seemed to indicate an intent to travel.

Was he planning to take I-17 all the way into the highlands, or maybe 74 west toward Wickenburg? Or was he just making his way to a neighborhood nearby? I wondered how far away his destination was, or if all he had was a direction. I also wondered if he was a bit out of his mind, imagining himself running away while somewhere nearby a relative was frantically searching for him. So many stories and possibilities...

At any rate I doubt the highway patrol would have let him walk far along such a busy highway.

A typical Lightalarms/ Emergi-Light Squire/ Escort series, though with an open face, green background /white letter configuration making this a rare find.

The glorious Mayfair Theatre, probably my favourite place to see a film nowadays. Here is the view from the couch (one of them) just before Sexcula (you can look that one up) started (with a Shivers preview, no less!).

Snuck a quick shot in today in my work carpark, as I had the gear in the car. I showed the shot to Tegan, and she said immediately, "Why aren't you smiling?" Good question I guess.

I shot a few shots in this spot when I was learning strobist skills with a self governing and supporting group 2010 Strobist 102. Wade made a much better model.
