The image is completely black, bar the exit sign & it's reflection and some blurry figures sitting under the sign. It all gives an eerie feeling, David Lynch-esque

On the way to our hotel in Barrio San Telmo after a visit to Barrio Recoleta we rode Subte H Line and transferred to E Line at Jujuy station.
Jujuy E Line metro station opened 20 June, 1944 as part of the original E line route. E Line was the last completely new line to be added to the Buenos Aires Underground until 2007 when H Line opened.
Jujuy station is decorated with allegorical ceramics, some relating to the Jeninian Exodus (Exodo jujeo) and the military campaign of the Northern Army in Jujuy province during the War of Independence of the United Provinces of the Rio de la Plata.
In 1997 Jujuy station was declared a National Historic Monument by presidential decree.

The drastic renovation of the cole washery was designed by OMA with Heinrich Böll (from Böll und Krabel). The staircase is situated in the giant void of the former 40 meter high raw coal bunker.
In the void (1) is here.
