A compound exercise is a movement that occurs at more than one joint and works more than one muscle group. In comparison, an isolation exercise works only one joint and one muscle group at once. Compound exercises save time because they workout more muscles at once, burn more calories, and more closely mimic everyday movements. Although this is merely a statue in this photo, the action these men are performing is what compound exercises are based on, real life movements. Notice how both men are using their legs and arms for leverage to turn the pipe they are working on. A perfect example of a compound movement in everyday life is if you are at work or in the home and pick up a box and place it on a high shelf. Doing this movement targets the arms to lift it above the head, the legs for balance, and the back as well.
(Livestrong explains the difference between a compound and isolation exercise and the benefits a compound exercise offers that an isolation exercise simply cannot like the high fat burning potential:http://www.livestrong.com/article/459733-difference-between-isolation-compound-exercises/ )

Your body has started to look asymmetric because you’ve been ignoring the neck muscles for too long now. Building neck muscles is just as important as exercising any other muscle in the body, and this goes for everyone, especially athletes and boxers.

On Saturday morning, June 8, 2019, the Rosman High School Tigers celebrated their Commencement Exercises at the Brevard Music Center.
Along with Dr. McDaris and the Board of Education chaired by Mrs. Tawny McCoy, alumnus Drey Owen welcomed all to a fully-packed Whittington-Pfohl Auditorium in between gentle bouts of rain. The combined Marine Corps Junior ROTC of Brevard and Rosman High Schools presented the colors.
Senior Sean Sprouse sang the national anthem, and student body president Jacob Voris addressed the audience as master of ceremonies for the day, followed by Salutatorian Avery McNeely and Valedictorian Azilee Grace Owen.
The Student Support office announced the award of numerous scholarships to graduating seniors. Tracie Owen read the commendation of the Lillian & Bud Cothran Scholarship Award given to Grace Owen, and counselor Sarah Shawver recounted a total of over $860,000 in scholarships awarded!
A musical interlude was offered first by Sean Sprouse singing "I Lived" by OneRepublic, then Peyton McCall singing and playing guitar, with Marcus Stamey on guitar in "Remember You Young," by Thomas Rhett.
Assistant Principal Patrick Chapman read the names of graduating seniors as they received their diplomas, with 78 seniors graduating in the Class of 2019.
Graduation Advisor Linda Peeples organized the ceremony, while junior marshals assisted graduates, faculty, and honored guests into and out of the auditorium. Chorus Director Sydney Bryant led the chorus in singing the Alma Mater to close the ceremony before the recessional.
