Close up view of the square tubing bolted to the repair clamps. The holes on the back of the square tube were for fiddling with the nuts while trying to insert the bolts. I like not having the nuts exposed, but this was a PITA. If I could get a do-over I would try a different method of attaching the square tube to the repair clamps.
