I don't think a bike rack was meant for that type of bike...

An abandoned exercise bike, a burned folding chair... found in an alley up on the top of Queen Anne as I was killing time before a doctor's appointment.

I took a lot of pictures of the bike, mostly close-ups. I'll post some of those later, but the scene really caught my eye.

I haven’t ridden this in months and months. I did get a good bit of exercise just now by lifting all the work clothes that Hadley has piled up on it. (Come On. I am guessing we are not the only ones who use an exercise bike as a clothes rack.).

ODC: bicycle

* Reebok Cyberrider exercise bike: cheap, and PS2/Joystick compatible

* Apple Studio Display: has S-Video inputs

* 1 metric crapload of cable ties

* Clip-on fan from B&Q to simulate riding really fast through the countryside

* RockFire PS2 to USB converter: to eventually log data from exercise bike to iBook

* Sennheiser HD-595 Headphones

* AlphaGrip weird keyboard

* Apple iBook G4 1GHz running OS X 10.4 Tiger

* Wireless pulse monitor: am thinking about ways to get this connected to the iBook.

* The West Wing Season 4 on DVD

* Bottle of water from Tesco.

Okay, I'm still unlikely to actually get around to using this thing, but it's the thought that counts.

There is no sense having an exercise bike if it is not going to be used.
