The historic center of Siena was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1995, considering it to be the embodiment of a medieval city. Its inhabitants rivaled Florence in terms of urban planning, preserving over the centuries its appearance as a Gothic city, acquired between the 12th and 15th centuries.
Factory building, Roche Bau 27, 1936/37, Otto Rudolf Salvisberg; from 1951 extension by Roland Rohn
The building is considered an important testimony to Swiss industrial architecture in the formal language of New Building. The building, which was extended by Roland Rohn (1905-1971), is an ideal embodiment of the architectural corporate identity created for Roche and taken up again by Herzog & de Meuron. In 1953 Roland Rohn extended this building to the south in keeping with Salvisberg's architectural language and created the end of the Roche site to form Solitudepark.
The Roche Tower (Building 1), also known as Roche Tower, is a high-rise building in the Swiss city of Basel. The building is the headquarters of the pharmaceutical group Hoffmann-La Roche, which is also the owner and developer of the building. At 178 metres, the Roche Tower clearly surpasses the 126-metre-high Prime Tower in Zurich, which was previously the highest high-rise building in Switzerland. However, the country's tallest free-standing building is still the St. Chrischona television tower, 250 metres high and only a few kilometres from Basel. The high-rise building serves purely operational purposes and is not accessible to the public. The Roche Tower, designed by architects Herzog & de Meuron, was built as part of an extensive structural restructuring of the Basel headquarters, which from 2021 will also include Building 2, which is currently under construction at 205 metres.

The Cossack is considered the embodiment of the image of the people of Ukraine, and the snakes represent all the troubles and enemies that the country has to fight against. For large-scale work, a wall of about 150 square meters was needed. meters and 70 liters of paint. 2014 year. Authors: Oleksiy Bordusov and Volodymyr Manzhos from the art duo "Interesni Kazki".
“Little annotation to my mural "Ukrainian St.George":
By creation "St.George" mural I wanted to fix historical moment of struggle of the Ukrainian people for freedom and independence.
In the center of the composition - ukrainian cossack warrior in the image of a falcon, hack the snake.
I deliberately use two images - first one is the ancient, pre-Christian Slavic symbol - the falcon, a symbol of the sun and the victory of light over darkness, and the second one is a Christian - St. George or ukr. Saints Yurіy to create a universal image of the people, fighting against evil, that is serpent, which represents a trouble that came to Ukraine.
Also, according to the legend of the "Falcon of Yaroslav Mudryj" ukrainian trident was a type of falcon dive.
In the story of the mural, doublhandhead snake attacks the land on which stands a warrior in two sides, from east and west, by the movement of the sun, trying to tear it apart.
Some specific political images I have not used in this work, but the story,- the allegorical image of the events that are happening now in Ukraine. Our country is in the center of geopolitical confrontation.”

I now have a week off work and the chance to make an exciting trip that I have been planning for some time. I’m not an impulsive person, I like to do the research, check the reviews and look at the alternative options before finally reaching a decision, and that’s just choosing red or brown on the bacon sandwich.
So, it will be an early morning start for the long journey ahead, the provisions will be packed for sustenance along the way. I have the route meticulously planned; it will probably involve a pause at the ‘fallen tree seat’, continuing along the lockdown path laid last year, before finally reaching the destination.....................the compost bins at the bottom of the garden.
Living life to the full!
I have 3 videos for today which are the total embodiment of 'sublime to the ridiculous'.
The first is a truly beautiful piece which I’ve listened to so many times over the last week. Glass must be one of our greatest modern-day composers; his music is often dark, menacing, with repetitive themes but always emotional. I love the pairing with this video, it’s also got a waterfall at 3.33!

I think if Keith from The Great Pottery Throwdown were to watch it, he’d be in floods of tears. You can call me Keith from now on.
If that makes no sense then:
…and finally
Hope you enjoyed them, if you didn’t, I’m over it. 😉

Miss Continent 2023: Russian Federation.
Tara says: My greetings to all participants, guests, judges, and organizers, wanting to express my gratitude for the opportunity given to me for the first time in the history of the Miss Continent pageant to represent not Russia, but the Russian Federation, the largest country in the earth that has territories both in Europe and Asia and being here with you representing on behalf of all the 190 nationalities that make up this vast country.
In my journey in the Miss Continent pageant, I tried to show you unknown regions and styles that were not always based on the common Russian stereotypes, but they were included in the great heritage of the "Russian world" as national treasures.
For the first Division Finale round, "National Costume" Tara created an Image of Spirit and Beauty, taking inspiration from all regions of the Russian Federation from Europe and Asia. Her outfit represents a mix of important symbols like the sun, light, birds, elements of nature, and traditional long clothing and rich jewelry, having European and Asian influence at the same time. This is not a real replica of the national costume, this is a personal interpretation and embodiment of the Country Spirit, sharing with you all good blessings, the warmth of the sun, the power of light, peace, and love to all world and nature.

Introduction
Almighty God says, "This time, God comes to do work not in a spiritual body but in a very ordinary one. Not only is it the body of God’s second incarnation, but also the body in which God returns. It is a very ordinary flesh. In Him, you cannot see anything that is different from others, but you can receive from Him the truths you have never heard before. This insignificant flesh is the embodiment of all the words of truth from God, that which undertakes God's Work in the last days, and an expression of the whole of God’s disposition for man to come to know. Did you not desire greatly to see the God in heaven? Did you not desire greatly to understand the God in heaven? Did you not desire greatly to see the destination of mankind? He will tell you all these untold secrets, and He will even tell you of the truths that you do not understand. He is your gate into the kingdom, and your guide into the new age."

The relentless rain finally relented, skies clearing to reveal a day begging to be captured. Las Gallinas, one of our cherished sanctuaries, beckoned. There, we spotted a magnificent sight: a Snowy Egret, its pristine white plumage a stark contrast against the azure canvas. With each graceful flap of its wings, it glided effortlessly from one pond to the next, a true embodiment of avian elegance.
From the information board outside the Chapel.
"The large back addition to the medieval Bull Inn was built in 1583 by Sir Henry Goring, who used the whole building as his town house.
In 1700 the Elizabethan part was made into a meeting-house for Dissenters who had left the Church of England in 1662. First known as 'Presbyterians' and later as 'Unitarians or Free Christians', they have continued to emphasise religious freedom and tolerance. Thomas Walker Horsfield, historian of Sussex and champion of Catholic Emancipation, ministered here from 1817 to 1827.
In 1913 John H. Every, the Lewes iron-founder, had the meeting-house divided into Chapel, hall and vestibule. Since 1987 the hall has housed the One World Centre - an embodiment of Westgate's historic commitment to universal brotherhood."
“The conceptual boundaries of what it means to be human or what we human beings mean by nature have never been less secure.”15 Emerging from and integrated into a chaotic world rather than a position of mastery and control removed from it, “the cyborg has the potential not only to disrupt persistent dualisms (body and soul; matter and spirit) but also to refashion our thinking about the theoretical understanding of the body as a material entity and a discursive process.”
-Anne Kull, “Cyborg Embodiment and Incarnation,” Currents in Theology and Mission 28, nos. 3–4 (2001): 282.
The sound of a flute under the shadow of an ancient oak tree summoned the spirits from the world of Navi. They came to the call and their bodies faintly flicker under the protection of the powerful sign of the pentagram. A man from the world of Yav` wants to know the answers to his questions and ask for help from the souls of his ancestors. And only the little Squirrel, the embodiment of the divine, attentively observes what is happening, ready to show the power of her Totem at the right time.
A visit to Canadian Pacific’s Toronto Yard in Agincourt, Ontario brought my only encounter with the one and only MLW M640. This 4000-horsepower monster, by 1971 standards, which was equipped with an 18-cylinder engine, was the embodiment of a design developed at Alco before its 1969 shutdown.
This unit also has the distinction of being North America’s first DC-AC conversion in the mid-1980’s, predating the programmatic conversions of this type by decades. The 1000-horsepower AC traction motors used obviated the need for six powered axles, so the converted locomotive had an A1A-A1A configuration. This view from the rear, necessitated due to it being nose-coupled in an engine terminal, shows the radiator section, which has an uncanny similarity to the radiator section of many modern GE locomotives. Today, the unit is preserved at Exporail.

The photograph showcases the majestic presence of a red rose, blooming confidently amidst a sea of verdant leaves. The rose's deep crimson petals are rich and velvety, arranged in a classic swirl that draws the eye to its heart. The bloom is the embodiment of classical beauty and passion, its saturated reds standing out with regal contrast against the softer greens of the surrounding foliage. Some leaves bear the marks of the natural cycle of growth and decay, providing an organic backdrop that emphasizes the flower's perfection. The subtle play of light and shadow across the petals and leaves adds a dynamic quality to the image, creating a sense of depth and dimension. This red rose, captured in its peak bloom, is a natural symbol of love and romance, its allure timeless and universally recognized.
There I was, lining up the perfect shot of a majestic Blue Heron—graceful, poised, the embodiment of wetland elegance. And then… quack. Enter stage left: a duck with zero respect for artistic timing. Out of focus but full of confidence, it photobombs the scene like it’s auditioning for a nature documentary called “Me Too!” The heron, ever the professional, pretends not to notice. This photo captures the chaos of wildlife photography, where even the best-laid compositions are vulnerable to feathered party crashers.
My latest photography is now available for purchase at crsimages.pixels.com/, featuring prints, framed art, and more from my curated collections—though this one might be just for those who appreciate a good avian ambush.
Tribute in Light.
Today is the 15th anniversary of the 9-11 terror attack.
Poem by Alan W. Jankowski
Let the world always remember,
That fateful day in September,
And the ones who answered duty's call,
Should be remembered by us all.
Who left the comfort of their home,
To face perils as yet unknown,
An embodiment of goodness on a day,
When men's hearts had gone astray.
Sons and daughters like me and you,
Who never questioned what they had to do,
Who by example, were a source of hope,
And strength to others who could not cope.
Heroes that would not turn their back,
With determination that would not crack,
Who bound together in their ranks,
And asking not a word of thanks.
Men who bravely gave their lives,
Whose orphaned kids and widowed wives,
Can proudly look back,
Who gave this country all they had.
Action taken without regret,
Heroisms we shall never forget,
The ones who paid the ultimate price,
Let's never forget their sacrifice
And never forget the ones no longer here,
Who fought for the Freedoms we all hold dear,
And may their memory never wane,
Lest their sacrifices be in vain.

U.S. Highway 66 -- popularly known as Route 66 or the Mother Road -- holds an elevated place in American consciousness and tells diverse stories of a mobile nation on the road.
Route 66 is the quintessential embodiment of the road and all its greatest promises: freedom and serendipity, kitsch and living history, and a case study of the very particular way Americans have moved and multiplied.
A favorite stopping place on Rouge 66 in Arizona is the town of Seligman. In 1987 Seligman became known as the “Birthplace of Historic Route 66”.
Today, Seligman is home to numerous gift shops, restaurants and several small motels. It is truly a step back in time

This insignificant flesh is the embodiment of all the words of truth from God, that which undertakesGod's Work in the last days…. He will show you that without the salvationof God incarnate in the last days, then God would have long ago destroyed all mankind in hell; without the existence of this flesh, then you would forever be chief of sinners and corpses evermore. You should know that without the existence of this flesh, all mankind would face an inevitable calamity and find it difficult to escape God’s more severe punishment of mankind in the last days. Without the birth of this ordinary flesh, you would all be in a state where neither life nor death will come no matter how you seek it; without the existence of this flesh, then this day you would not be able to receive the truth and come before the throne of God. Rather, you would be punished by God because of your grievous sins. Do you know? If not for the return of God to the flesh, none would have a chance at salvation; and if not for the coming of this flesh, God would have long ago ended the age of old. As such, can you still reject the second incarnation of God? Since you can so greatly profit from this ordinary man, then why would you not accept Him readily?” (from The Word Appears in the Flesh)

As summer turns to fall, all thoughts shift to eating. Bears must bulk up enough to have enough fat to live off if while they sleep the winter away. This period is called hyperphagia. This bear is the embodiment of it. She hadn’t finished the fish she was eating when another darted past. Taking up the rest of her current meal in her mouth, she dashed off after another salmon and remarkably caught another without losing the one in her mouth. I think she’s going to be alright this winter.
How do you ever actually see yourself, beyond the anatomical construction of the human embodiment? Do you honestly think that looking into the mirror is the tool to seeing oneself? Bullshit, that just reflects back the illusion of a tainted belief system; why are we so beguiled by flame and fire, heat and light energy, Sunrise and Sunset, because THAT my dear friends, THAT is the true form of the self. Purest, immortal, indestructible, ever learning, ever evolving Bonafide and organic energy, in the form of infinite awareness, as a point of attention assumed as the Human in at least this experience, dwelling in the illusory universe of time and space and matter, a secular unit of consciousness relocating the divine memory of that of the God, you forgot you are.
I hope everyone is well and so as always, thank you! 😊
I composed this image during one of this summer's road trips through Kananaskis Country, a wilderness and recreational area west of Calgary, Canada. It is one of the last summer images of this area I'll take this year. Autumn is soon upon us.
In one of Robert Frost's poems, he states: "The woods are lovely, dark and deep..." These words suggest that, in our minds, forests live in a state of contradiction: peace and beauty on one hand, fear and trepidation on the other. This photograph allows me to share with you a few thoughts about this contradiction.
Forests have always been recognized as the earthly embodiment of life, providing sustenance, shelter, and protection for countless species. Ancient cultures understood this vital role and often believed that the health of a forest was a direct reflection of the health of their people and the planet.
In many indigenous cultures, this connection between the health of the forest and the well-being of the people was not just a metaphor; it was a practical reality. They relied on the forest for food, medicine, and materials, and understood that preserving and protecting these resources was essential for their survival.
But a forest is also a rich and venerable metaphor for the unconscious, a wild realm where the sun and moon cast shadows indiscernible from the shapes to which they belong; where sound travels strangely and without reference; where creatures can be of this world or the other. As such, forests hold a profound connection to the spiritual world, serving as a bridge between the natural and the supernatural. Related to the above, the Japanese find peace in "forest bathing," and most of us understand the positive feelings that often occur when one walks in a forest that this phrase is attempting to capture.
Others have found other - and more sinister - symbolism in their consideration of the meaning of forests. The dark forest hypothesis is the conjecture that many alien civilizations exist throughout the universe, but they are both silent and hostile, maintaining their undetectability for fear of being destroyed by another hostile and undetected civilization. It is one of many possible explanations of the Fermi paradox, which contrasts the lack of contact with alien life with the potential for such contact. The hypothesis derives its name from Liu Cixin's 2008 novel The Dark Forest, although the concept predates the novel.
Hiking Island of the Sun in Lake Titicaca, Bolivia.
Birthplace of the sun and the Incan dynasty, Bolivia’s Isla del Sol is the embodiment of peace and serenity. Best explored at an ambling pace, the sacred island reveals itself to be an energetic blend of mysticism and spirituality.
One hour boat trip from the lakeside town of Copacabana, Isla del Sol is a beautiful place teeming with archaeological marvels. Over 80 ruins can be found sprawled across the rugged 70 sq km island – remnants of the Inca civilization that lived there in the 15th century AD – as well as approximately 800 indigenous families who live in small villages dispersed throughout the island.
According to Incan lore, Isla del Sol (Island of the Sun) is both the birthplace of their revered Sun God and the world’s first two Incas.
We arrived at Isla del Sol at Cha’llapampa in the north, and started hiking to the top and came down to Yumani in the south. The Isla del Sol is some 3500 meters above sea level with 4000 meters at its peak.

Thank you for reading the Story "The Doors" and enjoyong the photos and music. ღ
In the heart of a vibrant era, music surged through the corridors of time, a palpable force. The air vibrated with its melody, its waves reverberating off the shimmering walls of a vast labyrinth. Doors slowly open, revealing a vision of beauty and audacity.
Amidst the shadows, she emerged, her lithe form adorned in a soft darkness. Her movements mirrored the fluidity of the music, as if she danced upon its currents. With an ethereal grace, she caressed the cold metal of an electric guitar, her fingers tracing the strings in a hypnotic ballet.
As she played, the notes flowed from her fingertips, weaving a tapestry of sound both delicate and thunderous. They intertwined seamlessly, creating an orchestra of otherworldly harmony that enveloped the space. The stage erupted in a cascade of light, casting fragmented shadows across her captivating body.
At that moment, she found herself at the epicenter of a whirlwind of sound and illumination. It was a transformative encounter, one that would etch her into the annals of rock and roll history as a legend of the Story "The Doors."
For within the liminal space between the known and the unknown, she had become the embodiment of their enigmatic mantra: "There are things known and things unknown and in between are The Doors."
Devoted to my Ronnie, a talented and amazing musician who touched my heart deeply ღ

From the ending of a traditional Armenian fairy tale“Three pomegranates fell down from heaven:
“One for the story teller, one for the listener, and one for the whole world.”
For Armenians the pomegranate (in Armenian language “Նուռ” Transliteration: Noor ) and Apricot (Prunus armeniaca) are the most recognizable symbols and emblems of the country. In Armenian mythology it symbolizes fertility, abundance and good fortune. It was a guardian against the evil eye. At weddings in Western Armenia, a bride would throw a pomegranate and break it into pieces. Its scattered seeds ensured that the bride would bear children. In some rural areas exists the tradition for Armenian women who wanted to have a son would eat bread made from dough mixed with pomegranate seeds. Symbol of life, tradition tells us also that each mature pomegranate has 365-366 seeds, one for each day of the year. An austere fruit on the outside and equally rich on the inside. Its importance is attested in historical Armenian manuscripts since from the 5th century AD, together with grapes and their branches, and on Armenian stone-cross carvings (in Armenian “խաչքար” Transliteration: Khatchkar) where it was used as a popular ornament. One of the most iconic Armenian art movies is that of Sergey Paradjanov used this symbolic fruit as the title to his great 20th century masterpiece “The Color of Pomegranates” emphasizing the most symbolic concept for Armenians: in the film, the red pomegranate on a table with its wrinkled skin and fresh pulp stands out as an embodiment of the invincible soul of Armenia. Until the very day pomegranate is a commonly used theme in Armenian art and culture including cuisine. In fact, it has turned into a national cliché. The colour of the pomegranate resembles blood and vitality, and the grains are a symbol of procreation. The symbolism of a pomegranate is due, firstly, to its colour, and secondly, to its shape and thirdly, its internal structure, which embodies the principle of unity and integrity. In recent decades, the grenade is considered to be also the symbol of the Armenian Diaspora scattered throughout the world. Go to any Armemian art exhibition, and you are sure to see two or three (or more) paintings where the pomegranate is featured. During weddings in Yerevan a small dried pomegranate called “taratosik” is given by a bride to unmarried guests as a blessing. After the horrid events of the Armenian Genocide in 1915, many Armenian artists have used pomegranates as a theme in their lyrics and poems to describe a wide range of emotions, from suffering to hope, rebirth and survival of a nation
Since June 1995 is on sale in the market square a new well of the artist Joseph Michael Neustift.
The figure of Count Luckner, Marshal of France, as he sprayed passers passersby with water, he sees the chimes at the Town Hall and First waits daily at 12.05 pm heard the Marseillaise dedicated to him.
The Forest Witch with their children is not an evil witch, but rather a loving mother. Feathers and flowers, leaves and tendrils on her gown reminiscent of Mother Nature.
The circle closes with a known legendary figure of the Bavarian Forest, the Bilmesschneider. With the sickles on his legs he to have once gone through the fields to cut the farmers the grain. Here the Bilmesschneider is not the embodiment of evil, the crop failure and famine. The consumption of different symbols (vine, vines, peace sign), which he wears on his body.

The mural “For the Sake of Freedom” is dedicated to the Ukrainian heroes who protect our independence.
The central image of the mural is a soldier, who has become the personification of all the warriors defending Ukraine. This symbol is a visual embodiment of the indomitable spirit and selflessness of those who risk their lives every day for our freedom.
The idea of the mural was initially only to depict a fighter, but in the process of work, new lines were born in the minds of the artists, which found their place on the facade.

"The " Friendship of Nations " fountain was created in 1954. It was meant to become one of the main symbols of the All-Russia Exhibition centre. However, it became the symbol which reflects the celebration and high spirits associated with the victory in the WWII, embodying the national dream of prosperity in the whole world. The initial name for this well-known fountain was the "Golden Wheat Sheaf".
The terraced granite base of the fountain, which was created in the shape of the flower, gradually transforms into an enormous bowl-shaped bundle of wheat, sunflowers, and hemp. Sixteen gilded statues of women are standing around this composition, symbolizing the republics of the Soviet Union before the 1956. After the sixteen republic has seceded and became the Karelian Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic, the authors decided not to remove the sixteen statue of the girl as this would destroy the composition and hinder the functionality of the fountain.
A little known fact is that each statue was created in the image a young lady from each respective republic. Thus, every golden girl was once a real model a living embodiment of her smaller homeland." www.moscow-driver.com/photos/moscow_sightseeing/vdnkh/fou...

The Ida Street Viaduct (or Bridge), located between Monastery Street & Paradrome Steet in Cincinnati, Ohio, is significant as an embodiment of an innovative 20th century bridge engineering & design scheme in which indirect lighting was recessed in the hand-railings of the bridge. This was the first time that this type of lighting was used and this system was adapted in the Western Hills Viaduct. At the time it was built, it was acclaimed as one of the most beautiful structures of its kind. The principle feature of the design is the illumination with 33 two-hundred watt globes recessed in the railings. They are mounted with special lenses which diffuse the light horizontally across the road and direct it upwards. Thus the silhouette effect proves not only a safety factor, but is aesthetically pleasing as well. Total overall length of the bridge is 592 feet, the width is 37 feet, and it is 44 feet above Wareham Drive as seen above. Due to the prominent position on the hillside, the Ida Street Bridge is a very distinct & visual landmark in the Mount Adams community. It is also one of eight major reinforced concrete viaducts in Cincinnati and is the only viaduct which has not been altered over the years, thus retaining the original design & lighting system.
The Ida Street Viaduct (or Bridge) was added to the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP) on November 28, 1980. All the information above was found in the original documents submitted for listing consideration found here:

Hope (which is the embodiment of eschatology) can see what will be, and so empowers both faith and charity. To know the certainty of resurrection, the heart must open to God with a dilation caused by liturgical asceticism across the years of our life.

Durbar Square is a historically and culturally significant site in Kathmandu, Nepal. It is one of the three Durbar (royal palace) Squares in the Kathmandu Valley in Nepal that are UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
Although the construction of the square began in the 3rd century, the major structures within it were added in later periods. The outer complex consists of a number of 16th-century temples built during the reign of Malla kings. These buildings are adorned with meticulously carved facades characteristic to Newar architecture. The central square is surrounded by palace complexes built during the Malla and Shah periods. The most well-known among them is the Nautalle Durbar, a nine-story palace built by Prithvi Narayan Shah to commemorate the Unification of Nepal.
A three-story temple called Kumari Chouk or Kumari Bahal is located at the southern edge of the Durbar square. This Malla-era temple is used as the resident of the Kumari, a young girl worshipped as a living embodiment of the Hindu Goddess Durga.
Almighty God's words "Corrupt Man Cannot Represent God"
www.holyspiritspeaks.org/videos/word-corrupt-man-cannot-r...
Introduction
Almighty God says, "All the actions and deeds of Satan are shown through man. Now all the actions and deeds of man are an expression of Satan and hence cannot represent God. Man is the embodiment of Satan, and the disposition of man does not represent the disposition of God. Some men are of a good character; God may do some work through it and their work is governed by the Holy Spirit, yet their disposition cannot represent God."

So after a frantic couple of weeks I had a free afternoon and it was pouring down so perfect for some hard drive clearing. Problem was, as usual, I found some shots I liked and did a bit of editing and so end up with even more on the computer.
I love watching otters eat - the embodiment of gusto. You can see a nosey seal in the very top left. In fact a day tracking these along the shoreline and getting down in the seaweed to watch and photograph them is just about perfect for me.
