I think this will be my last ever Febrovery entry before I give up Lego. I'm sorry it's a bit of a rehash. I've a few more builds to post, but I think that will be it.
I'm finally satisfied with my Lunar jeep now though. Well almost!
To Crimso, Febrovery is the best embodiment of Lego online anywhere. Thanks.
These monumental figures depict the bodhisattvas Avalokiteshvara, the embodiment of compassion, and Tara, born from Avalokiteshvara's compassionate tears. The image of Tara reflects the Indian feminine ideal, with a sensuous hourglass body with full breast, tapering arms and a soft belly. Avalokiteshvara stands in the flexed tribhanga or triple-bend posture. He wears a short patterned dhoti and ornaments typical of a bodhisattva. Both these deities would have shown the gesture of charity or generosity (varada mudra) with their right hands.
“I love tulips better than any other spring flower; they are the embodiment of alert cheerfulness and tidy grace, and next to a hyacinth look like a wholesome, freshly tubbed young girl beside a stout lady whose every movement weighs down the air with patchouli. Their faint, delicate scent is refinement itself; and is there anything in the world more charming than the sprightly way they hold up their little faces to the sun. I have heard them called bold and flaunting, but to me they seem modest grace itself, only always on the alert to enjoy life as much as they can and not be afraid of looking the sun or anything else above them in the face.”

Gospel Movie "The Mystery of Godliness" (6) - The Necessity for God to Do His Work Through Incarnation
www.holyspiritspeaks.org/videos/movie-the-mystery-of-godl...
Introduction
Why is it said that it is more beneficial to saving corrupt mankind for God to incarnate? In what can the necessity and major significance of God incarnating be seen? Almighty God says, "The flesh of man has been corrupted by Satan, and most deeply blinded, and profoundly harmed. The most fundamental reason why God's Work personally in the flesh is because the object of His salvation is man, who is of the flesh, and because Satan also uses the flesh of man to disturb the work of God. The battle with Satan is actually the work of conquering man, and at the same time, man is also the object of God's salvation. In this way, the work of God incarnate is essential. Satan corrupted the flesh of man, and man became the embodiment of Satan, and became the object to be defeated by God. In this way, the work of doing battle with Satan and saving mankind occurs on earth, and God must become human in order to do battle with Satan. This is work of the utmost practicality" (The Word Appears in the Flesh).

I was at this building for only a few days. My time became an embodiment of Chicago weather: One day it was clear and sunny, one day foggy, one day it rained and one day it snowed.
The idea for this set started to take shape and the clear sunny days seemed to be the best for the baseline revolution. Although, such as this one looking south, I didn't always have a particular view on a particular day.
It's Tuesday and I hope that you day is a really great one.
Today, May 1, 2021 marked the 50th anniversary of the start of Amtrak. Back in 1971, few would have expected it to last 5 years, let alone 50. One year ago, it's future was very much in doubt. As P42 42, the Saluting Our Veterans heritage unit, made its first voyage on the westbound Southwest Chief after being mothballed for a few years, the gloomy day was very symbolic of the times. With it's already slim budget having been repeatedly slashed due to years of political wrangling, and the nation locked down in the midst of the deadly coronavirus pandemic, Amtrak's revenue tanked as ridership fell precipitously. But if ever there was an embodiment of the "Little Engine That Could," Amtrak soldiered on in the brutal year that was 2020. It was forced to embargo some short distance trains indefinitely, and cut almost all of its long distance trains to tri-weekly service.
One year later, on it's 50th birthday, Amtrak's future looks the brightest it has ever been. With a new infrastructure bill on the horizon, it will finally be able to replace it's aging fleet of locomotives and worn out passenger equipment. So the bright, sunny day today was appropriately symbolic of it's future. And just as symbolic would be cracked, dented, and worn out lead locomotive P42 13, not just of how brutal the past year has been, but how brutal the past 50 years have been.
Some new/updated figs from the Blackest Night event with the rise of the Black Lanterns. Felt thematic to go with the final night of 2020.
Left to right:
Nekron: The embodiment of Death and the entity that is the source of the Black Lanterns' power. Modified from a previous version with new Hidden Side parts.
Black Hand: The first Black Lantern. New, but based on other people's designs in general.
Scar: The Guardian of the Universe that is scarred by the Anti-Monitor and becomes corrupted. A new design that I'm pretty happy with.
Thank to CW Sellor's for the details.
Sterling Silver Pearl White Sapphire Enamel House Style Fly.
This collection has been created to celebrate House Style and has been inspired by Deborah, the Dowager Duchess of Devonshire's own insect jewellery collection, given to her by Andrew, the 11th Duke. Deborah's famous insect collection included moths, caterpillars, spiders, wasps, dragonflies, beetles, bees, butterflies and even a grasshopper. She used to wear the brooches pinned to her shoulder, along necklines or across the front of a velvet waistcoat. Each jewel in this collection is a miniature work of art.
The embodiment of luxury, this pendant is fashioned from the finest Sterling Silver and embellished with a large, lustrous genuine Freshwater Pearl and sparkling white Sapphires. It comes complete with an 18 inch long Sterling Silver chain. The blue wings are vitreous enamelled in the Plique-a-Jour style. Plique a Jour is a highly specialised enamelling technique and provides vibrant colour to many of the insect designs. Working like a miniature version of stained-glass, powdered glass is placed in cells and heated. Unlike cloisonné work the cells are open which allows the light to shine through the transparent or translucent enamel.

Apache Crown Dance or Gaan Dance (also called Mountain Spirit, Crown Dance, Devil Dance) is an Apache ceremonial dance that is intended to protect the community from disease and enemies. Dancers became "the embodiment of the Mountain Spirits (the Gaan)"; they wear special masks and wands during the dance. The dance is performed by a group of five members, one of them a "clown", each having his specific role. Wikipedia

This is Yester Castle the home of Sir Hugo de Giffard, also Jiffard, a 13th-century Scottish Baron. He is remembered in legend as the, “Wizard of Yester.” Yester Castle was built around 1267 with Sir Hugo acting like a diabolical King Solomon and calling spirits to build his stone works for him. If instead of the diabolical focus Sir Hugo was more inline with the God of Solomon then his demons may have been a gifted labour source for his good works. Some have said that he was in pact with the devil and that his source of amazing conjuring deeds was all infernal. His fortification is noted as being assembled by an army of hobgoblins. The best remains of the castle ruins are named as either Bohall, or Hobgoblin Hall, also The Goblin Ha’. This Goblin Hall may have been constructed by a workforce keen to protect their stone crafting secrets and possibly also French in origin. The language barrier and insular ways could have given rise to the workers been seen as demons doing Sir Hugo’s bidding.
Bohall as an Irish name is said to derive from, “baigell,” which meant, “having profitable pledges,” Sir Hugo seems to have been the embodiment of someone that is noted as having prospered by having profitable pledges. Most likely because it still stands as the only roofed section of Yester Castle it is suggested that the Goblin Ha’ is where Sir Hugo practised dark arts such as necromancy and making pledges, pacts with infernal spirits. The Hall is even stated to have an entrance to Hell. The design of the structure that still exists gives a much clearer indication of the Hall as the place to bring in animals at times of siege in lower section and to have above the animal stalls floors for two legged occupation with the lowest tunnelled into the bedrock being a vital access to water and not an entrance to the underworlds. Magic often features in Legend in ways that can quickly come undone if you look closely at the weave of Folklore, and investigate into the weft as that which is seen as superb for enchanting stories is not the best factual material for histories.
I hope that Sir Hugo being of either Giffard, or Jiffard has no overbearing influence on the Giff versus Jiff debate? That is usually the .gif versus the .jif at least in pronunciation.

Sacré-Cœur, Paris
Paris
The Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Paris, commonly known as Sacré-Cœur Basilica and often simply Sacré-Cœur, is a Roman Catholic church and minor basilica, dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, in Paris, France. A popular landmark, the basilica is located at the summit of the butte Montmartre, the highest point in the city. Sacré-Cœur is a double monument, political and cultural, both a national penance for the defeat of France in the 1870 Franco-Prussian War and the socialist Paris Commune of 1871 crowning its most rebellious neighborhood, and an embodiment of conservative moral order, publicly dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, which was an increasingly popular vision of a loving and sympathetic Christ.
In the heart of Yellowstone, as the first dusting of snow settled on the pines, a bull moose emerged from the timberline—massive, regal, and restless. He moved through the forest with steady purpose, the weight of the rut heavy on his broad shoulders. Each step was deliberate, the low light glinting off his antlers like weathered bronze.
Moments later, a small group appeared—a cow and her yearling, their movements cautious under his watchful eye. The bull lingered at the edge of the clearing, testing the air, asserting quiet dominance without a sound. For a brief spell, the forest seemed to hold its breath. Then, with a slow nod and steady gait, he approached, the embodiment of Yellowstone’s untamed strength—wild, enduring, and eternal as the land itself.
More to follow.

In a world where empty words often sway,
There stands a man who takes a different way.
He never chases, but effortlessly attracts,
With his values and skills, his admirable acts.
No flattery spills from his lips with deceit,
His words hold weight, making every heart beat.
Impervious to charms woven with art,
He's captivated by grace, right from the start.
His silence speaks volumes, oh so profound,
For his actions whisper a love that's renowned.
No verbose promises or empty romance,
Just sincerity shining in every chance.
He's the embodiment of a true gentleman,
His presence, a gift, more precious than a gem.
In his arms, I find solace and trust,
For his love is genuine, unwavering and just.
So here's to the man who has won my heart,
With actions that speak, he's a rare passionate art.
No need for grand gestures or poetic verse,
For his love, his actions forever immerse... 💞

Radha’s heart,
Paths to Kṛṣṇa,
Love’s journey unfolds.
In the Hindu tradition, Lord Kṛṣṇa is often depicted as having both male and female qualities, which is known as Ardhanarishvara. Therefore, some male devotees of Lord Krishna choose to dress as women to express their devotion and to emulate the gender fluidity of the deity.
This practice is known as "Radha Bhava" or "Radha Bhakti" and is particularly popular among the followers of the Gaudiya Vaishnavism sect of Hinduism. Radha, who is believed to be a female companion and lover of Lord Krishna, is considered the embodiment of devotion and love for the deity. By dressing as Radha, male devotees hope to experience the same love and devotion that she had for Lord Krishna. The practice is also seen as a way to overcome gender and social barriers in expressing devotion to the deity.
A "tumbled" image of a statue of Perseus holding up the head of Medusa at The Metropolitan Museum of Art.
After a visit to the wonderful rooftop terrace we spent some time viewing a few of the wings of the museum in the last hour before it closed. We came upon this large, long, very tall room with these wonderful Classical statues in them. It was fortuitous that it was evening and the West window to this particular gallery let in the most beautiful evening light. The way if fell on this statue made it too hard to resist photographing.
The bright Perseus, holding up the dark head of Medusa, an embodiment of evil, against the dark background seemed a beautiful metaphor to me of the very Greek triumph of Light over Dark.
The 'multiplication' of Perseus and his presence in several frames of time and space suggests a certain 'persistence' of the metaphor of Light over Dark, of Plato's "Beauty" as proportioned out in the geometries of Classical Greek sculpture.

Excerpt from Wikipedia:
The Römer (German surname, "Roman") is a medieval building in the Altstadt of Frankfurt am Main, Germany, and one of the city's most important landmarks. The Römer is located opposite the Old St. Nicholas church and has been the city hall (Rathaus) of Frankfurt for over 600 years. The Römer merchant family sold it together with a second building, the Goldener Schwan (Golden Swan), to the city council on March 11, 1405 and it was converted for use as the city hall. The Haus Römer is actually the middle building of a set of three located in the Römerberg plaza.
The Römer is not a museum as it is occasionally used by the city for various purposes, for example as a Standesamt or civil registration office; the wedding rooms are located in the first and second floor of the Haus Löwenstein.
The former old town quarter between the Römer and St. Bartholomew's Cathedral has been redeveloped as the Dom-Römer Quarter until 2018, including several reconstructions of historical buildings that were destroyed during World War II.
The entire three-storey building complex occupies about 10,000 square metres and consists of nine houses, encircling six courtyards. The front, with today's main entrance, faces the Römerberg plaza. Other streets around the Römer are the Limpurgergasse to the south and the Buchgasse and the Berliner Straße to the north. The Braubachstraße divides the south and north wings.
The exterior features of the set of buildings reflect a wide breadth of Frankfurt and Germany's history, even though they were designed at the beginning of the 20th century. The famous three-peaked façade has medieval elements of design. The left-hand corner of the Alt-Limpurg displays the so-called Frankfurtia, the female embodiment of the city. In the middle, the Haus Römer shows the four kaisers of the Holy Roman Empire, two city coats of arms, a clock face, and a placard describing the most important facts about the building. The four kaisers are Frederick Barbarossa (the first king to be elected in Frankfurt), Louis the Bavarian (who gave convention rights to the city and allowed an expansion of the city), Charles IV (who made Frankfurt the location of the Kaiser selection vote), and Maximilian II (the first kaiser to be crowned in Frankfurt cathedral).
Like the neogothic façade, the balcony was added after the rebuilding in 1900, replacing a wooden roof. The balcony was and is used as a public stage for state visits and sporting events - for example, the soccer world champions in the Women's World Cup in 2003 and the runners up in the 2002 FIFA World Cup.
Another approach was chosen for the design of the fronts of the two north-east houses (the Wanebach and the Salzhaus). In contrast to the other houses in the complex, instead of reconstructing the old Wilhelminean front, the architects created a completely new design using a combination of medieval timber framing and modern styles. The mosaics in the timber frames feature the motif of a phoenix, a symbol for modern Frankfurt's new start after the war.
Θάλαττα! θάλαττα! Θάλαττα!
It is recorded by Xenophon in his Anabasis that in the years 401-399 BC, the 10,000 Greek soldiers who fought the Persians deep within enemy territory made a long withdrawal back to the Greek settlements on the Black Sea. As soon as they saw the sea they knew they had made good their retreat and cried, "The sea! The sea!"
The abstract patterns made by the motion of waves on the sea cannot be predicted. They are a pure expression of chaotic motion that produces ordered outcomes. They are the embodiment of the creative nature of Chaos Theory itself. The elemental nature of the sight and sounds of the sea, awakens the deep memories of our ancestors.

Finally! As the Bald Eagle is our national bird the iconic Bison is now our long overdue national mammal. North America's largest land animal is the embodiment of American strength, resilience and the nation's pioneer spirit. Wondered why it took so long...
Congress approved the designation last spring, and it became official Tuesday, November 1st, at Wind Cave National Park in South Dakota.

While bison and buffalo are used interchangeably, in North America the scientific name is bison. Actually, it’s Bison bison bison (genus: Bison, species: bison, subspecies: bison), but only saying it once is fine.

Analysing the drama of the Queen’s death and the most elaborate rituals of mourning, including the “queue”, several thoughts went through my mind. Number one is that we are not just dealing with a brilliantly designed piece of royal propaganda. It is part of the habitual self-promotion of the crown, no doubt, but there is more. There are “the people” too. And here, things begin to get difficult. For some, there were quasi-religious or spiritual sentiments involved. This group did feel the need for adoration and veneration. Others succumbed to the temptation of subjugating themselves to the will of somebody else, usually by minimising one’s own self and maximising that of this heroic figure - queen, king, leader or so. This is a voluntary act and a questionable one too. It can only work if we transfer value to these heroes - whether they really have value and virtue or not. The unquestioned mantra invented for this purpose was that the Queen did all her life “service” to the people (even “sacrifice”). A much fairer assessment, however, would be to say that the people have always served the Queen. Royalty in the UK is the embodiment of social inequality. The Queen was and now the King is, a hereditary billionaire. Over the decades, the royal family has exempted itself from many pieces of legislation to its own advantage, reserving privileges to themselves and claiming sovereignty (born to rule, being independent of the people). Why, then, do so many of us see royalty as the cement holding everything together in the UK? The short answer, very unfortunately, is that everything else is falling apart.

She stands, ethereal and serene, holding the sword close, its weight a silent promise. The blade gleams faintly in the dim morning light, a testament to the authority it represents and the balance it demands. It is more than steel—it is the embodiment of justice, strength, and the heavy burden of leadership. It carries the hopes of a world yearning for unity, a reminder that true power must serve not the wielder but the people. With quiet grace, she prepares to present it, ready to place it into the hands of the one who will need it—the once and future king.

“Gloria in excelsis Deo,” Glory to God in the Highest, often used by The Royal Order of Scotland is seen on both of the badges to the left. These two badges offer slightly differing designs. The relative position, or relationship between the Emblazoned Equal Armed Cross and the Continuos Nine Pointed Star are slightly different on the two badges. This difference is likely a result of manufacturing process. The top points and the bottom point of the Continuos Nine Pointed Star can be set around the Cross such as to create a more balanced reference between the two icons. The outer Blazing Star of each badge has seven fiery illuminating triangular points. The five points of the inner motif on the Equal Armed Cross is another slight difference as is the Star set after Deo and before Gloria in the rendering of, “Gloria in excelsis Deo.”
The Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite are known to have the double-headed eagle as icon of duality embody in unity. The two eagles in union offer a token of the balance of Day and Night, of Good and Evil, of the embodiment of Light and of the embodiment of Dark, of the Spiritual and the Material all taken upon for the Checker Board to the highest pinnacle of Masonry. In 1758 the Council of Emperors of the East and West confirmed the double-headed eagle as the official emblem for the 33rd Degree. The double-headed eagle has been used for many centuries, it is now given as one of the motifs of 32nd Scottish Rite Freemasonry. From establishment of the Scottish Rite the double-headed eagle has been an official Emblem. Wings reaching below being 32nd Degree and Wings rising above being 33rd Degree. Active Emeritus Members of the Supreme Council are granted the accolade of wearing the all encompassing reach of the upward outstretched full embracing of the rising wings as seen on this Jewel.

The wavelengths visible to other than human eyes can be explored with a Full Spectrum Camera. My friend who loaned me this camera and a set of lenses and filters describes the experience of dogs that cannot easily discern between a red ball and the green of the grass on which it sits.
A Full Spectrum Digital Camera is often a modified camera that can record light beyond the human visible spectrum. By capturing ultraviolet (UV) and infrared (IR) light the images reveal a now visible representation of the sight given in the wider wavelengths. This can be achieved by removing the built-in UV/IR cut filter found in standard cameras, this allows for a wider range of light to reach the sensor and to be recorded in a manner visible to the human eye. With the addition of either external filters to the lens, or clip in to the sensor, photographers can choose to block certain wavelengths. These additional filters can be used to isolate ultraviolet UV, infrared IR, or human visible light to achieve specific effects that include using the camera for lowlight photography.

In this captivating photograph, we see a young named Nina taking on the iconic character portrayed by Uma Thurman in the cult classic film, Pulp Fiction. With meticulous attention to detail, Nina perfectly embodies the essence of Uma's character, capturing her allure and enigmatic charisma.
Dressed in a stylish black outfit, Nina effortlessly channels the essence of the character, right down to the cigarette she holds delicately between her fingers. The wisps of smoke rising from the lit cigarette add a touch of mystery and intrigue, reminiscent of the famous scenes from the movie.
Despite the time constraints of only 45 minutes to set up the scene, the team behind this lighting setup spared no effort in creating an atmosphere that emulated the intensity and sophistication of the original film. Skillfully positioned reflectors carefully light Nina, highlighting her facial features and adding a dramatic flair to the overall composition.
The dedication and attention to detail displayed by both Nina and the team truly pay homage to the artistic vision of Pulp Fiction. 1930 DUESENBERG MODEL J DISAPPEARING TOP ROADSTER. Purchased new by Shirley Carter Burden - Great grandson of C. Cornelius Vanderbilt.
Few names in motoring are as redolent of wealth and power as Duesenberg. The ground-breaking company advertising placed in up-market periodicals for the Model J was one of the first campaigns that deliberately did not show the product. A series of soft charcoal drawings portrayed a man in evening dress, seated in front of the fire in a great hall with a minstrels' gallery dominated by a huge pipe organ, or the silver-haired skipper of an America's Cup-type yacht, above a single line of script: "He drives a Duesenberg". Women drivers were not forgotten: under the portrait of an elegant lady giving directions to her head gardener, "She drives a Duesenberg" said it all, eloquently underscoring a scene where one could perceive an additional four gardeners in the distance, tending the immaculate grounds.
Duesenberg unveiled its Model J – the embodiment of company owner E.L. Cord and chief engineer Fred Duesenberg's vision of "The World's Finest Motor Car" – at the New York Auto Salon in December 1928.
Among its remarkable features was a twin-cam race-bred engine – a purpose-built 32-valve Lycoming 6,876 cc straight-eight said to develop 265 bhp. With light bodywork, such as a Murphy roadster, it was possible to achieve 90 mph in second gear with a maximum speed in the region of 110 mph in high gear. Ride and handling were exceptional for the period, matched by 15 inch hydraulic brakes all around. Every chassis built was tested for 500 miles on the Indianapolis Motor Speedway before being handed over to a leading coachbuilder for the construction of custom bodywork.
Though they were built during the Great Depression and cost more than a Rolls-Royce or a Hispano-Suiza, the Model J Duesenberg had no problems attracting customers in the beginning. Among the rich and famous who drove Duesenbergs were film stars Greta Garbo, Al Jolson, Gary Cooper, Clark Gable and Dolores del Rio, whose husband Cedric Gibbons, famed film art director and creator of the "Oscar" statuette, was also a keen Duesenberg owner. Millionaires like William Randolph Hearst, Phillip K. Wrigley and Howard Hughes, as well as royalty like King Alfonso XIII of Spain, Queen Marie of Yugoslavia, King Vittorio Emmanuel III of Italy and Prince Nicholas of Romania were all members of the exclusive Duesenberg set: in the end, fewer than 500 Model J's were built.
Chassis 2346/J330 proudly carries the desirable disappearing top Roadster body by Murphy, which is regarded by many as the quintessential Duesenberg look. By far the most prolific builder on the Duesenberg chassis, the Walter M. Murphy Company of Pasadena, California produced roughly 100 Duesenberg bodies, a little more than one fifth of total production. The most popular Murphy style was the two-passenger Convertible Coupe with a rumble seat, now universally dubbed the Murphy Roadster. About 60 were made, although they are not all alike. Initially, about 25 came with a non-disappearing top, followed by a series of interim cars, many of which were one-offs, where the top folded down into a well behind the seat, covered by a snap-on tonneau in leather. The final evolution was the true "disappearing top" model, where a flush-fitting metal lid replaced the tonneau to create a seamless flat line that ran from the edges of the bonnet to the doors and down over the rear deck.
This beauty, sold at auction in 2015 for just under $3 Million!
The previous step plate allows a visitor to the rumble seat to avoid messing up the >$100,000 paint job. Imagine how many Model T Fords you could buy then and now just for the price of re-chroming the entire car.

Giggles, the killer female clown, was a master of deception, hiding her malevolence behind an innocent facade. With her wide, doe-like eyes and a cherubic smile that never seemed to fade, Giggles had an uncanny ability to lull her victims into a false sense of security. However, beneath that charming exterior lay a sinister darkness that few ever glimpsed until it was too late. Giggles used her sugary-sweet demeanor to lure her unsuspecting prey closer, only to reveal her true, sadistic nature at the last moment. Her laughter, once tinkling and melodic, transformed into a chilling, maniacal cackle as she revealed her deadly intentions. Giggles was a living paradox, a clown who embodied both the innocence of childhood and the horrors of the abyss, a truly unforgettable embodiment of evil.

Dressing to Disobey
When the body becomes a battleground, fashion turns into armor, into discourse, into a symbolic weapon. This image is not just an aesthetic statement: it is an act of visual insurrection.
On the prow of a luxury yacht, framed by a postcard sunset, a figure emerges, subverting everything traditionally expected from power, gender, and glamour. This is not merely a person dressed to impress it is the embodiment of dissent. A body that dares to exist beyond the binary, one that takes the codes of power: jewelry, height, silhouette, opulence and twists them into a declaration.
The headpiece, almost liturgical, evokes a religious iconography now stripped of its moral authority. The beard, visible beneath the lace, is a deliberate act of provocation: not a disguise, not a transformation. Just presence. Just identity.

With a majestic burden in tow, the elegant class 25NC - No.3437 - gracefully ascends a gentle incline in the untamed, yet enchanting Karoo landscape. The mighty engine, an embodiment of history, carries with it a sense of reverence as it traverses the stunning expanse.

Neuschwanstein Castle, royal palace in the Bavarian Alps of Germany, the most famous of three royal palaces built for Louis II of Bavaria, sometimes referred to as Mad King Ludwig, who grew up nearby at Hohenschwangau Castle. Begun in 1869 and left unfinished at Louis's death in 1886, the castle is the embodiment of 19th century romanticism. In a fantastical imitation of a medieval castle, Neuschwanstein is set with towers and spires and is spectacularly sited on a high point over the Pöllat River gorge. The king worked with three different architects in succession: Eduard Riedel, Georg Dollmann, and Julius Hofmann, all Germans who based their designs largely on a scheme produced by German stage designer Christoph Jank.
King Louis was a patron of the German composer Richard Wagner, and the third-floor rooms reflect Louis's love of the legends used by Wagner in his operas: for Tannhäuser, a winter garden and stalactite grotto; for Lohengrin, the great chamber; and the unfinished Byzantine throne room, its vaulted ceiling supported by inlaid stone columns and decorated with stars. The Singers Hall on the fourth floor, with a coffered ceiling, is dedicated to the life of Parsifal, hero of another famous Wagner opera. The palace is now a popular tourist attraction.
It has 65 rooms and only 16 are finished. Louis II lived there for only 172 days. 6 weeks after his death, castle was turned, by Bavarian gvt. into tourists attraction.
Neuschwanstein Castle has - as the only candidate from Germany - the chance to belong to the "New 7 Wonders of the World". Together with the Statue of Liberty, the Kremlin, the Acropolis, the Colosseum and the Great Wall of China the world famous castle is among the 21 finalists of the vote ititiated by the New7Wonders Foundation.
Took some photos of Ares for my friend, Kass. :3
Tidbit about Ares. He looks like he gets into a lot of fights, he looks like trouble.
Actually, he's the embodiment of "Courage." And as my character, he got all the scars stopping fights. Never starting them. :3
He's a peacemaker.

Some moments truly are an embodiment of luck. Right as I lined up the composition, calculated the shutter (ND), the sun broke the rim of the falls, warmed the pool below, and a surge of mist rose up. The lights here are not mist on the filter, but the sun's light bending through the mist it just conjured.

this seems to me like the embodiment of a house according to Plato. I found it today nearby my workplace (had to cut an apple-tree)
The Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Paris, commonly known as Sacré-Cœur Basilica and often simply Sacré-Cœur (French: Basilique du Sacré-Cœur, pronounced [sakʁe kœʁ]), is a Roman Catholic church and minor basilica, dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, in Paris, France. A popular landmark, the basilica is located at the summit of the butte Montmartre, the highest point in the city. Sacré-Cœur is a double monument, political and cultural, both a national penance for the defeat of France in the 1871 Franco-Prussian War and the socialist Paris Commune of 1871 crowning its most rebellious neighborhood, and an embodiment of conservative moral order, publicly dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, which was an increasingly popular vision of a loving and sympathetic Christ.
The Sacré-Cœur Basilica was designed by Paul Abadie. Construction began in 1875 and was finished in 1914. It was consecrated after the end of World War I in 1919.

“I love tulips better than any other spring flower; they are the embodiment of alert cheerfulness and tidy grace..

Such a stunning face. One of my favorite of all my Integrity dolls. Just gorgeous. She is the embodiment of how gorgeous the Veronique 1.0 sculpt can be.
Embodiment of dark, contrasty, ennui against a backdrop of earnest motion. And he yawned just as I commited to the shot. Sod. I considered a wide crop but without the platform, the context is a bit weird.
In the heart of Dublin lies a testament to 18th-century architecture, an embodiment of the city’s rich history, and a focal point for both residents and visitors alike – the City Hall. Originally known as the Royal Exchange, built between 1769 and 1779 and designed by the celebrated architect Thomas Cooley, this majestic building stands out not just for its historical significance but its architectural prowess.
