Part of the infrastructure that relies on the product conveyed in the bio-mass wagons stands in the background as 66190 "Martin House Children's Hospice" passes Scunthorpe Foreign Ore Branch Junction on 8th March 2024 with 4R51 1250 Drax to Immingham empties.
Pole shot.
One of a sequence of recently commissioned artwork decorating the electrical junction boxes along Pratt Street in downtown Baltimore. This one at the intersection with Howard Street is by the local arts group, Creative Nomads, and features a Baltimore Orioles hero - alas I don’t who. Perhaps a Flickrite O’s fan could enlighten me?
I decided to take a short break from Posting my Photographs on flickrâ„¢.
In the meantime I will use some of my Stored Stock Photographs, which I shot at Random somewhere in Pinellas County.
This will be open-ended without a rudder; whatever POPS into my Head.
I took these photograph of a Electrical Tower in Safety Harbor, Florida (Pinellas County) and Modified it with Photoshop by using several of the Creative Filters available to Distort the Tower by Bending & Twisting and Raising it up on top of a Fake Wave it to create these Weird Looking Pictures.
The Tower was on Concrete Pylons that rose above the water,
and led from a Generating Station on the West Shoreline across the Bay from Safety Harbor. There is a Hiking Trail along North Bayshore Blvd, which parallels the Coastline (Eastern shoreline of the Bay).
Phillippi Parkway shoots off at an angle (to the Left) from Bayshore Blvd. at Main Street in Downtown Safety Harbor (where Bayshore Blvd becomes North Bayshore Drive), paralleling the Bay for about a mile North where it ends at a pedestrian bridge that crosses a small inlet from the Bay.
The Pedestrian Bridge carries the Trail North into Phillippi Park past the Tocobaga Indian Temple Mound. The High Tension Towers that cross the bay are approximately Midway between the North side of the Bridge and the Indian Temple Mounds.
North Bayshore Drive ends on the South side of the bridge, only the Trail crosses the Bridge.
Vehicular access to Phillippi Park is about a Mile North along Phillippi Parkway, where there is an entrance into the Park and then back South along Phillippi Park Drive past the Indian Temple Mounds half way South towards the Pedestrian Bridge.
Unless you access the Towers by foot South along the Trail, it is best to buy a Map of Safety Harbor.

A set of electrical panels for power distribution, arranged as artwork on a wall. An old industrial construction serving a new purpose.
An electrical insulator from my collection, marked Gayner No. 48-400. I found it along railroad tracks, the soot from steam engines has left black stain on it.
Two electrical cabinets in Preston. The one on the right is possibly Edwardian. The details make me think of a more optimistic society than the one that made the cabinet on the left.
Greatwall Hobby 1/72 scale F-14A Tomcat with a mix of resin and Photoetch and patience, produced to represent Fighter Squadron (VF) 31 "Tomcatters" aircraft 02, Tomcatters' callsign is Bandwagon. Two electricians at work prepping the aircraft for flight.
Test shot with the Sony 135mm STF lens on an M10. Any DSLR lens is a cumbersome on an M, especially if it also needs the EVF. The Sony is no exception, but it is an interesting pairing with an M camera.
I exposed this without bothering to protect the cloudy but bright sky. Surprisingly, the lamp post details exposed almost perfectly, instead of a silhouette I had been expecting. Just a slight tweak to the highlights and the shadows, and a +10 in contrast (my standard RAW conversion) was all that was necessary.
The fine print on the can is not quite readable – I think the font size is too small to be picked up by a 135mm lens. But the next time I'm here, I will try to specifically focus on the label and see if I can actually read it.

An awesome electrical storm over Aguas Claras district, BrasÃlia, Brazil. A freakish demonstration of nature's power!!!
Electrical tape
I'm contemplating an entire body suit because I am totally in love. And so happy to have discovered it so that I can keep creating even though my finger is still acting up!
It is 8:30 AM on a calm and quiet Sunday morning. The city of Glendive is nearly empty, with the exception of one area. The BNSF engine holding, fueling, and storage facility is buzzing with life. Seen here is just a snippet of the action, as a pair of BNSF mechanics perform scheduled maintenance to an EMD SD70ACe. The unit second closest to us is ready to be shuttled onto the turntable by a former GN switcher just out of shot, while the lead unit is having an electrician perform repairs to the electrical system.
