A few weeks ago, I saw an amazing photo of lightning from Mike Jones and so when a storm rolled in tonight, I was inspired to give it a try and see if I could get anything worth posting.
Please, check out Mike's stream for some incredible photography.

An electrical switch panel at Lynnewood Hall in Elkins Park, Pennsylvania. With 110 rooms, 55 bedrooms, and 100,000 square feet, Lynnewood Hall is the second largest Gilded Age mansion left in the U.S. and a magnificent example of architecture by Architect Horace Trumbauer. For the fascinating history of the home known as the "American Versailles", see the Lynnewood Hall Preservation Foundation's website at LynnewoodHallPreservation.org/history, where you can become a Patreon supporter and help the restoration efforts.

I first visited this old Army Air Corps base in Wendover, Utah back in June of 2007 and recently returned for more exploration. In the years between visits much has happened by way of preserving and even restoring this fascinating piece of history.
