Engineering Educator Kathryn Shroyer presented the Sea Perch iterative exhibit to eager families at the Cape Code Museum of Natural History Saturday March 23rd. The event was hosted by the museum in collaboration with the Cambridge Science Festival's Science on the Street initiative.

Every year, the College of Education hosts a back-to-school thank-you reception for Pullman-area educators, in particular the Pullman School District, with whom the college has had a special relationship for a number of years. This year's event took place at South Fork on August 22.

Description: Educator and founder of the Palmer Memorial Institute in Sedalia, North Carolina, Charlotte Eugenia Hawkins Brown was active in the National Council of Negro Women, the N.C. Teachers Association, etc., and was the first black woman to serve on the national board of the YWCA. She lectured and wrote about black women, education, and race relations.

Some social educators joined with team UT for a workshop to get to know one another, and help identify the major issues women face and how they can be taken on.
