Almost back to my car and found these last few leaves hanging on. I couldn't not take their picture.

These colorfully graffiti-ed support pylons are a few of many at Philadelphia's Graffiti Pier, an art-filled area that attracts tourists and dog walkers. Seen in 2022.

In this small corner of Baltimore, concrete walls have become canvases for graffiti artists. A multi-armed mythical deity (?), perhaps with tinges of Eastern influence, stands out. Seen in 2022.

This early evening shot from very close to Braehead just east of Stromness was looking west over the Bay Of Ireland towards Stenness Village.

I was astonished by the sheer height, vast size and intricate patterns in a cloud like that on a calm and sunny evening!

I love this necklace, is very eyecatching, maybe the flower is a little exotic for a necklace ! haha! everyone turns when I wear this one :-)

ENGLISH

Belchite is a village in Zaragoza province, Spain, about 40 km southeast of Zaragoza. It has a population of about 1,647 (2007).

On June 15, 1809, French and Spanish forces in the Peninsular War fought the Battle of María near Belchite.

Between August 24 and September 7, 1937, Republican and Nationalist forces in the Spanish Civil War fought the Battle of Belchite in and around the town. After 1939 a new village of Belchite was built adjacent to the ruins of the old, which remain a ghost town as a memorial to the war.

The remains of the old village have been used as filming locations in films including Terry Gilliam's 1988 film The Adventures of Baron Munchausen and Guillermo Del Toro's Pan's Labyrinth.

CASTELLANO

This particular train runs on the street as well as underground. Surprisingly there was absolutely no sign of graffiti anywhere in between the underground stations. Even though the line was about 15 stops in total, The amount of surveillance was shocking and had a substantial amount of cameras that seemed to be a bit excessive in my own personal opinion.

These attractive minder books are dated 1953 and have space for shopping lists, phone numbers, budgets, appointments, etc. Similar books in Korea had plainer covers but lots of advertising inside. ;-)

The romanesque church of Saint Benedict belongs to the old benedictine monastery of Santa Maria Veterana, of 11th century. The old monastery was left in 18th century by the construction of the new one.

La iglesia románica de San Benedicto pertenece al antiguo monasterio benedictino de Santa María Veterana, del siglo XI. El viejo monasterio fue abandonado en el siglo XVIII por la construcción de uno nuevo.

Sometimes it's really those non-eyecatching thing, like this almost invisible photographic print, among all those fancy schmancy that can really catch your eyes.

This stunning black viola plant has lasted right through Spring and summer and may even continue into Autumn. It's not really black but looks as close to black as flowers seem to get.

Thank you for taking the time to comment, award and/or critique my work, I truly appreciate each and every one!

Thank you and I hope you enjoy your day :-)

An eyecatching way to advertise a shop for lease. This is where the Crumpler bag shop in Melbourne once stood, now cleared and illuminated by this rather fascinating sign.

This afternoon sunset shot in early December was taken looking across the Lochs of Harray and Stenness towards Orkney's two highest hills which are on the north-west of Hoy Island.

Just beyond the closer Loch Of Harray - in the middle of the photo -the neolithic "Standing Stones Of Stenness" can be seen in silhouette against the Loch Of Stenness.

Classic view from Totnes bridge enhanced by reflected early morning sunlight.

Bye-bye sunshine - hello colour, LOL! Definitely needed this shot of colour today - where is the sun hiding? This is just another moment of playing in my kitchen yesterday. A rare, "just about sharp enough" image to post, but I love the orange and blue together! I have several other abstracts to post sometime - please bear with me until/IF I ever get a tiny, table-top tripod to use when attempting supermacros, ha, ha. This is the sharpest of them, so really the others are more for the colour : ) Oh, guess I should just add that this is a tiny petal tip with a couple of water droplets. The white tip is almost translucent and sparkly.

I know the recent pictures of my trip to China are not really spectacular from a "eyecatching" point of view. This is not about hunting 'favs' and fiews. But it fits: my trip to China marked also a new way of photographing for me. During my 25 days tour through parts of China it was less about capturing "nice", "stunning" and "wow"-pictures but more about attentative watching, being patient and paying attention to the daily life of the Chinese ...

... as seen here on a local farmers market in a south-western Yunnan Province of China ... for once a picture that - as 'imagepeace' pointed out below - definitely made me feel sad.

Snow isn't that common in Orkney due mainly to the warming effects of the "Gulf Stream" or "North Atlantic Drift" - despite the fact that the Orkney Islands are at approximately the same latitude as Kodiak Island in Alaska.

I liked the way the lighting was coming through on this pair of Mallards.

Large view is recommended !

This rare promo postcard touts the nearly two-month long Chosun Expo, a big showcase event held in 1929 during the Japanese Occupation. The various pavilions focused heavily on industry. Scarce.

Today i went to the museum to see the Andy Warhol's exhibition called Mr. America. I was amazed about his art and this is my tribute to this great artist.
