Denise Weller provided Face Painting at our 50th Anniversary Celebration

This bike is always changing. I'm about ready to switch a few parts around, again, to make it the Monster that it is. I freakin love this bad boy. It may not be perty (to you), but it does the dang thing

Shot Saturday afternoon during Colossalcon. I don't usually get alot of cosplayers to shoot with that aren't from the US, so when it happens I get a little awestruck. Glad I was able to work with CelticSakura and her friend Alexia, I really like her work especially with wig styling. Hopefully I'll be working with them at another convention in the near future.

Looking after Lulu (on the right, no ball) for Mum as she is living it up in the big smoke for new years and beyond. Thought I'd better post a shot to show all is well and she's enjoying her stay with sister Poppy..

A view from the roof of the Oslo Opera House. In the background is the DFDS Pearl of Scandinavia, the ship that would take me to Copenhagen that evening. The ship coming in on the left was another ferry from a different service, but I'm not sure where it was going.

Apparently on Nov 17, 2010, a fire broke out in the car deck from a faulty charger on an electric vehicle. The Swedish and Danish navy rescue units responded and were ready to evacuate passengers, but the fire was extinguished before that was necessary.

Hey y’all. That’s me, on the left. That other goofball on the right is my twin brother, Nathan. We are genetically fraternal twins, and we are also almost complete opposite in every other way. I have always liked blue while he has liked orange. I am the more structured and organized type, and he has been more random and creative. I seemed to gravitate more towards work and school, yet he drifted more towards video games and exploration. Now, there is nothing wrong with our differences, which is something I have struggled to accept between us two, but, in today’s world, I have often been the one to look out for him. He just naturally has had a harder time finding his own ways to excel. Life with a twin has been, well, interestingly fun, I guess. I described it like this a while back: Imagine having a sleepover with your best friend. Now, imagine that best friend is your sibling, and you are having a sleepover with him/her every day of your life. For the past eighteen years, there have been many interesting points in our relationship, but none greater than the recent bittersweet, melancholic split of our intertwined lives. You see, I chose to go to DU, while he is staying in Kansas at KU. We have always been together, and, while I was the more independent, extroverted half, I still feel like a part of me has left. I was happy-- yet also very nervous-- to see him go and take on life by his own. Going to DU has been a big goal of mine, or, at least, going to a place better than home has been. Meanwhile, Nate has seemed to have a hard time figuring out what that big goal of his is --what he wants to do and where he wants to go. Now, however, after he has already been in college for two weeks, I feel happy and hopeful that it will all work out for the best in the end.

This was the highlight of the evening. A modern ballet interpretation of a peacock dance perfected iby veteran dancer Yang Liping, who supposedly was premier Zhu Rongji's favorite performer. Ms Yang is the artistic director of the Dynamic Yunnan show which had won a number of awards in China.

This dance was performed by one of her students. The Yang Liping version is available on YouTube - Spirit of the Peacock.
