Through some relational turmoil years back an idea of how to portray the view of drowning from above, yet connected to it, and at the same time lend a mild feeling of that experience without actually , of course, drowning. Mid turmoil felt exactly that way for a while.
Feel free to write what you feel when you look at it. For me, my throat tightens up and I feel suffocated.

Just playing around with my ring flash again. I'm still not sure I 100% like this shot, but it does sort of appeal.
The reservoir seems to be reclaiming some land and taking a few trees in the process.
I found the moss interesting on the branches and thought it would look interesting with the surface water of the lake smoothed out with a helping of LE.

My buddy lives near Lake Michigan so when visiting I asked him to take me out to the lake for a photo op. On the way out he warned me this spot didn't have anything cool to take photos of... That being said, I'm quite happy with this photo!
Blizzard warnings for parts of Germany originally included Berlin, but downtown did not look so bad (icy it was though)
