Another one from days where the hours spent waiting for the sky to colour up and the receding waves to burnish the wet sand were the very best hours of the day. They are wonderful memories and it's great to have the photographs to transport us to those nights drowning in beauty. They're not always that serene as i'm dashing with my tripod to catch the best reflection as new canvasses are exposed. It's a wonderful frenzied madness though. I can't wait to drown in their beauty again. Drown is by Smashing Pumpkins.

On our return from holiday, we decided to drive all the little country lanes down through the Yorkshire moor. The heather was in full bloom, it was spectacular to see.
