A great day exploring the delights of North Devon . Hartland Quay in squally showers, followed by frustration at Blackchurch Rock, waiting for the tide to drop. I could wait no longer as the light was fading, so balanced on the seaweed covered ridges and risked a soaking. A big wave drenched me up to the knees, but luckily didn't wash me off the ridge. Fear of Drowning by British Sea Power is an all time favourite gig track, so is perfect.
The silver tattoo around the eyes is a work in progress from Nefekalum tattoos called Embellishment, not sure when it will be out.
This picture was inspired by Drew Lukas' silence

Another one from days where the hours spent waiting for the sky to colour up and the receding waves to burnish the wet sand were the very best hours of the day. They are wonderful memories and it's great to have the photographs to transport us to those nights drowning in beauty. They're not always that serene as i'm dashing with my tripod to catch the best reflection as new canvasses are exposed. It's a wonderful frenzied madness though. I can't wait to drown in their beauty again. Drown is by Smashing Pumpkins.
