Bob took us for a walk after lunch to the nearby village of Sillans-la-Cascade and I couldn't resist another shot of this wonderful old oak tree on the edge of a meadow and an olive grove. The sun was getting low in the sky and shone beautifully through the tree.

Later that day the sun became more prominent and the cloud started to break up

No filter only light nature

...Well it certainly felt like it when this cloud opened up yesterday afternoon!

Dramatic sky seen from Shore Temple

A cowboy stands with his horse as the sun rises, creating a simple silhouette against a colorful morning sky. The quiet scene highlights the relationship between rider and horse and reflects the early start that is part of life on the range. The dramatic clouds and warm light provide a striking backdrop to this classic western moment.

Manu: Damn, I did not hear the alarm clock. Let’s go Giorgio, we must go to the Husemer lake to photograph the sunrise. And why in the hell did you not wake me up?

Giorgio: My unbelieving friend, believe it or not but it’s too late anyway for the sunrise, and among us … today I want to see the lovely Astrid (an english Setter)! I know she will be there in the forest today. And I have prepared a few cool quotes for this wonder of beauty he he he :-)

Manu: LET’S GO Giorgio!!!! Hurry, we must reach this lake!

Giorgio: Oh boy, please not again this stress! Please let’s go to the forest!!!! I don’t want to go to this lake!

Manu: But the lake will be better than Astrid! Really :-)

Giorgio: Better than Astrid? Nothing is better than Astrid my friend!!! Please I want to run over the fields with that dog, please!!!

Manu: I can swear I will see a fantastic sunrise my friend!

Giorgio: My friend, knowledge is important and not „I believe“! The weather forecast announced rain. For heaven’s sake, we lose time, and I will not see Astrid because of your obsession!!!

Manu: Trust me, it will be wonderful! Much better than Astrid!

Giorgio: What??? Are you crazy? No my friend, no!!!!

Manu: Look at this photo! Have you seen this mood? Well, I know we missed the sunrise! But it’s not bad, right Giorgio, ähem?

Giorgio: What? This is what you have taken! THIS???? And this result is now the reason why I have missed Astrid Ohhhhh my little fellow, I can’t wait to the next night! Get prepared to receive a wonderful present in your new shoes!!!!!

I want to thank all very much for your "views", "Comments" and "Favourites" :-) The only thing that matters is that you have joy in this photo. Again, thank you :-)

Barn Swallows Series

A barn is a barn, but the overall scene is what I look at. Bright sunshine does not usually have the look I am after.

Happy Darn Barn Wednesday

A surreal, dreamlike landscape inspired by Shakespeare's "A Midsummer Night's Dream", captured in the National Botanical Garden in Kyiv, Ukraine. Shot on a Ricoh GR III using an IR 720nm filter, this photograph transforms the blooming rose garden and sweeping weeping willows into an enchanted, glowing monochrome realm. The Wood Effect makes the foliage and flowers radiate with ghostly, ethereal light against a dark, stormy sky, as if fairy magic has turned a bright summer day into a mystical night fantasy.

Sonnenuntergang bei Lößnitz

I took this photo on the coastal walk between Little Kingsleys Beach and Eddie's Beach. Turquoise ocean, blue skies and orange lichen covered rocks - what more could you want!

Thanks for the visit and comments - always appreciated.

This was taken in the Valley of the Moon in the Atacama desert in Chile. Sunsets are a spectacular sight as the landscape turns every shade of gold and red before darkness finally falls

Not far away from our tent there was this small but wonderful waterfall. And I could see this piece of area several times a day during one week and of course in every light condition. And the evening I made this shot here the time was perfect for a picture as a thunderstorm was approaching the area at sunset! From the distance I could already hear the roar of the thunderstorm. And every minute it got louder and louder as the sky darkened slowly. Sunset time was close and I grabbed my backpack just to reach the small waterfall at the right time. And as you can see in my image I had enough time to catch the sunset and the approaching thunderstorm at the same time! How lucky I was that evening ;-) I hope you like my vision here.

Thank you for your time and interest in my photos, your visit is most appreciated :-)
