Another course project. Tough one!
Create darkness and combine with a single primary colour without loosing focus and clarity. I chose a tree silhouette with a blue moon type aura behind it. Originally this was shot in broad daylight so it was quite a task! Not particularly 100% happy with this but here it is anyway... This is my learning journey
Dusk in Tiha Bay - The Dynamics of Sky and Horizon
The dynamics of heavy clouds pressing down on a burning horizon. A mystical transition from day to night; the quiet conflict of light and dark on the Adriatic coast.

Another one from my wander along Zenith Beach, with Mt Tomaree looming at the far end.
The weather wasn't exactly putting out the welcome mat. The clouds were gathering over the headland and becoming considerably more interesting by the minute — which, from a photographer's point of view, is usually good news right up until the point when it becomes bad news.
I liked the contrast here between the relatively peaceful beach and that restless sky. The sort of conditions where you keep taking photos while occasionally wondering whether perhaps you should also be walking back to the car a little faster. :)
Thanks for the visit and any comments — always appreciated.
Just in case anyone is wondering. Yeas, it's a HDR capture and of course, a emphasized the structure to get the deapth.
The Breakaways at dusk. Located about 20 minutes outside the town of Coober Pedy in the desert in South Australia. The sandstone formations have various names like "The Sleeping Camel" which can be seen as a white formation on the right hand side of this photo

In the vast Thessaly plain, on an extensive fenced pasture,in front of a traditional enclosure, at Pedino, Karditsa is bred a local race of sheep named "Karagouna".The photo depicts a part of that flock grazing during an impressive sunrise!

The Volcan Osorno with 2652 meters high is one of the highest elevations in the Region of Los Lagos. With an almost perfect cone, slopes covered with lush vegetation and its eternal snow is also one of the main attractions of Vicente Perez Rosales National Park, one of the oldest in Chile. It is idle for more than 100 years.
This unknown cove named Valtoudi, on the coastline of Pelion, turned out to be an endless photographic goldmine with fishing boats, small pleasure craft and lacy morning clouds reflected in its almost still waters.
